Jim likes cake, although wedding cake is a bit expensive. Go for it Sam, we have a couple of pro video guys at ours too, that was £1300 well spent tbh! The kids like watching the vid!!! And you can't do it again (with the same person usually) so get a decent photographer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And you can sell you fishing gear on here: ebay.co.uk !!! Another good man lost, oh well, good luck Sam. Rob

And mine Jim!!! These are stills from some video footage. Which is mostly me telling Livvy how amazing it is!!! I used my Faux-Pro (as I like to call it). It is a copy Go-Pro and is pretty good! Comes with a screen on the back too. Fits all Go-Pro accessories. It is so good there are fakes of this fake!!! But you have to make sure you don't get a copy of a copy!! If anyone is interested I can make a post about it. I think it was sub £70 but with additional accessories unde£100. Better than £300+ for the decent go-pro. R Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think Nigel dropped his wallet overboard, for H&S reasons they need it to do the lift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So just spent the week in Dartmouth with the boat, And family! Had some issues with the Yamaha. It was a little spluttery and missing on low revs. High revs seemed ok but a slow increase in revs would stall it. But tickover to planning in one go was fine - sorry Dart Harbour Master!!!! Anyhow I wasn't happy to go out out on it with the kids so only made the crabbing spots inside the Dart. But hey, 'twas good fun. Tues after the BHol Mon I headed to the Yam dealer, bought a new fuel tank as I am retiring one and a new pickup pipe for the other as investigations had found that the pipe had somehow bent in the tank! A read of the service manual and some process of elimination and testing completed all was purring well. Olivia (7.5) and I headed out for mackerel in a 6/7ft swell and some wind. Not a sniff but she was super keen, headed back in from the swell and found some deep water in shelter. Still nothing! We true once more a day or so later and could not make contact! As I like to try and get out twice a day on hols I headed out to a flat sea with brilliant sunshine an met a local boat trying for macs. They advised that everyone was struggling even the charter fleet out deep for macs! Oh well tried anyway, passed over 2 (what looked like) shoals on the sounder, not a sniff. So off for a speed test!!! Lost the of my tool box, the wind took it off. So a search for it was in order, retraced my steps (no FF or Gps onboard this trip) and passed the lid by 2ft @ 26knts, result! More crabbing ensued and no more fishing. Kids had been to the beach all Friday am and got back at 3, cold and worn out, I had to persuade (not too much) Olivia to come ray fishing on the Skerries. Fishing was cr@p and 2 dogfish in 29m water with 1 3/4lb lead not great but the fun was had crossing the skerries to get the the mark! Dreams came true and these are some stills from the video. We had 20mins with them. Must have been 100+ and they got us wet!!!! No wonder the mackerel have left the area! R Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like a Heath Robinson fuel tank \ pickup & return to a clean fuel can in needed to ensure it isn't the fuel delivery to the pump. Or as per Steve's note above - wategate actuator messing about with. Have you have a boost pressure guage attached to her to see what you are getting? (only useful if you know what it should be) Have you consulted Chapman Boat Breakdown Consultancy Services? Charlie is my usual port of call when boaty things aren't working \ broken for an experienced point of view! R

Blimey Tony, more patience than a saint! Is it a different fault every time you get it back, or do they break something else each time they touch it? Agree with Steve, time to find someone who knows what they are doing!

Yes, well done Jim, I knew you could do it! Welcome DaveL with winning both comps overall too! Rob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Go Ian, adding the last minute extra cheese for browning: Forgot to mention my pasta bolognese with garlic bread, I take the hint!!! Cheers chaps, great weekend, enjoyable over nighter and a please to see that beast landed! And the big turbot! Made my 9lber look pathetic! Struggled on bait at times and we just keep ahead of our requirements, pockets of macs and launch. My undulate at 13:14 was 2oz short of a specimen, must try harder!!!!

That would be telling!! [emoji6] Report on way.

I use the navionics gold & platinum and have the UK wide ones. Not worth restricting to just one localised area, as, I think the UK wide ones sell better second hand. Though you do need to load / select the regions to use as you move areas. Rob

Last time he did that we towed him in to Braye! [emoji1]
