  1. 3/0 circle and a flyer too!!!!! Rubber hooks!
  2. Just save the film as "PC 720" as 1080 is a bit big and the default is rubbish!
  3. I use MS Movie maker. Not the best but free in MS 2012 Essentials pack ( if you install choose advanced and untick all but moviemaker).

    Tuna off Cornwall

Mike, have a read of the Marine Discovery Cornwall page in the link above. There is a suggestion that Tuna has a quota in Europe, but the UK doesn't take any of it, so to land one you would need to gain some of that quota, including recreationals. Even though it cant be sold. I assume a Bonito if landed whilst feathering would be ok as they are Mackerel family not Tuna.
  5. Yes Dave, my thoughts - a great tool to learn an adapt. I always assumed and so did others i have spoken to that the bait was fluttering between the lead and the boat, but in most cases i have seen, the boat on the surface is moving quite a bit faster than the bottom layer of water, Oh, one note, is that live Weaver bait has a 100% success rate! (well, tried twice and landed 2 turbot)!!
  6. Can't drag it all the time Sam as it creates quite a bit of drag and reduces the sensitivity of the rig, due to heavier lead and heavier rod used. I sent it down to a mid channel wreck, but at 150ft it is pitch black! Unfortunately, due card malfunction, the footage of Nannels Pollack smashing my lure didn't come out! Which was a big shame as something bit my lure in two! (I am guessing a wrasse)
  7. No idea - but it looked like one hell of a bite on the rod! WaterWolfHD is designed to be mounted inline for fishing. It can be cast etc. The key thing is to ensure the distance from camera to lead \ lure is right and then lead to hook, to ensure that the bait is in shot. Those rays would have given once hell of a scrap and lead to thoughts of a 20lb turbot! R
  8. But its the ones without boats that can afford to buy the drinks!
  9. Of course, many member don't have their own boats, they are regular crew. We meet 1st Thursday of each month at Parkstone Trade and Labour Club - 19:30 for 20:00 - meeting followed by a talk \ discussion \ tips and tricks. Rob
  10. Nearly but not quite caught video: This shot with a WaterWolfHD - in 50-80ft of water. https://youtu.be/jBckrI4p1E4 Rob

  13. http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/threads/massive-shoal-of-bluefin-tuna-off-cornwall.4242269/ Interesting, though I believe it is illegal to target them and to land even as by-catch. Boo!!!

  17. Our very own Dave Lynes rescued the chap on his way back in, not sure who's boat he was on. Well done to the crew.
  18. I have some turbot can footage from Alderney to sort at some point! But my nannels pollack footage didn't come out. (
  19. Would the problem follow the leg swap? Or is the oil filter and relief valve external and reused? Ruddy annoying!

    A-Flag

JV maybe? Now she has a dive platform!
  23. But JV isn't blue, so Ad no doubt would not have allowed them!
  24. Clean as you go Dave! Saves an hour + back at the marina, plus, looks good for photos! Saying that though, white team t-shirts wasn't my best idea! Mine has orange marks on it from the dye of my braid.
