Fish the open species comp and follow another boat! Or, come to the prize giving and have a chat with the numerous friendly members who will be milling about!

Rules above now Dave - i will also upload a points sheet. We have dropped the "Bonus Points" as this was allowing the species specalisty boats "runaway" from the every day angler. Now, my plan to win is catch an Anglerfish, Blue Shark and a halibut! That could beat a boat with many more species!!

Just launch and fish from a pontoon \ anchored \ on a buoy!

Paul D doesn't have a boat anymore, but PJ has had an ETec for yrs.

I'll let you guys try and feedback! I'll go with my tried and tested method, until I hear back!

I did the saltx thing when I got mine, that was with a recycling bilge pump and leg off. Not practical for regular use.

The bait fish to be shared thing could work well or not. Do you suggest the skipper goes for bait fish first, how long for, do you baitfish at your fishing spot or else where, when do you suggest lines down, then you have a max of 6 hrs fishing, have to be back by 17:00, do you sacrifice fishing time to travel back from a further but more productive grounds? Nice to see you can fish for your own baitfish during the comp.

Another 12 hours away from the family for a worthy cause! Tbh, I'm enjoying seeing / doing the finishing touches. Not long now and the blood on the deck won't be ours! R
