Hi Tom
I think that is what the fleece liners (as recommended by Rich, above) are supposed to prevent???
Rich, are the fleece liners a separate purchase or do they come as part of the Neoprene socks?

Wish I hadn't asked now...opinions are evenly divided.
But I'm leaning towards the Neoprene Boots with a pair of Neoprenes socks. They'll be more flexible in different situations...especially handy if the end of one happens to disappear up the southern channel, as Pete puts it. Soft and gentle me thinks.
How the thread wanders....
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, chaps.

Decided to buy some warm wellies for the winter, but undecided which type of boot to buy.
The choice is between the new Sundridge Hotfoot Thermal Boot @
I know what you mean, Jack. I've just started Kayaking a purchased my own paddle. It cost a small fortune. Unfortunately, it's my only paddle, so don't have any old ones to offer.

Thank you all for your comments.
I take it all back...you're a great bunch of lads.
We gave Dad a good send off yesterday, especially the speach which included examples of his infamous one-liners, like his suprisingly accurate weather forecast "there's going to be some weather today" or "it will be dark tonight."
Charlie, actually I think the toughest thing for me was telling Rachel and Robert that their Grandad has died. Heartbreaking. It still brings tears to my eyes.
Thanks again to you all for your support and comments. I'm lost for words.

Ross,
Yes, that's what I do. For the sake of a few quid in winter is saves getting the trailer stuck in the trailer park.
It's very, very shallow at LW and only shallow at HW.

Thank you for your thoughts and comments, everyone. It's humbling.
Charlie, thankyou for the offer re the RAF Forum, but knowing my Dad, it'd probably lead to some mischief if his name was put on there.
cheers all.

You only need to buy 2 tickets if you keep the trailer attached to your car, and are therefore taking up an extra parking space.
If you take the trailer off the car and put it in the trailer part, there's no need for the second ticket.
