Yes, but as it seems Adam is looking for a bigger boat with inboard, so regardless whether it's a petrol or diesel, it will be bigger and heavier, so a large 4x4 will be required anyhow or maybe mooring ..... the only real argument is the extra weigh of a diesel engine while towing, how much extra will it cost?

Diesel will always be cheaper to run.

What you can do to reduce the cost of diesel is do what a lot of the 4x4 or diesel driver do already, use veg oil, as long as you are registered with custom and excise, you then "declare" and pay the duty and vat you use everymonth. But you do have to use a lot of oil to make the hassle worthwhile.

Didn't Dan use to have an inboard petrol engine and it nearly bankrupted him. Don't think there will be any problem from abroad (EU) as long as you have the original paper work listing the vat have already been paid, otherwise our nice Mr Brown might get to pick your pocket.

As a result of charter prices going up, men are staying home more. Thus, keeping the missus happy and divorce rate goes down....... also, the birth rate goes up ( ) and the looming pension crisis is adverted because there will be more working population.

Just because you have 25k, it doesn't mean you have to spend 25k. Leave some for equipment and maybe some fishing gear, and oh, don't forget mooring will cost you a few grand a year.

You must be using xp. It's the built in security, when you press the http:// tab, a window pops up, click on it and you also see there's a highligted line at the top of the screen below all file, edit, veiw,.... and all the short cut, click on it to allow pop up window and it will work.

So so Trev is having one, any taker for the other? Both works fine but ice do get build up inside, so a hammer to smash the ice once every other month or so. Free and ready for all your bait. Also a 2 drawer wood grain (real wood) dressing table with mirror if anyone is also interested.

The easisest and cheapest way is by using a lump od blue tag, mould it halp way round the rod and then measure it.

My sub ran out back in July, I wasn't soon whether to re sunscribe or not, so I bought the Aug issue and that was the last one I bought . It was a brilliant mag, but been going souht since the beginning of the year.

It does sound like the tabs. Just a bit of guess, is the damper gas or oil? it might be that in cold weather the oil thickens up and takes that much more effect for the dampers to be compressed?!
