Hi Dave and welcome to the club. Charlie can beat that price for the SelectaDNA (my kit arrived about 8 hours after my engine was stolen), as soon as my boat is fixed I'll be marking everthing with it. You'll fit in well then.

    Stolen Engines

I'm with Porthcawl and everything has been very easy and smooth. They appointed an Insurance Assessor who met with me at the boatyard, he helped with the statement and claim form, liaised with the police etc. He handled all 7 stolen claims. The only thing that took time was him trying to get the police to return the engines. He arranged to have the engines collected and returned to Rockley. Derek's not with Porthcawl, he's with a different broker, but it turns out we're both actually insured with Knox Johnson. His claim was settled just as easily.I think it's down to the fact we had a good assessor. In this case Peter Smith (PJS Associates). Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 2

    Sea Sick - Help

Whenever we were doing any sea trials for the Navy, they issued us with Stugeron. Worked for me.
  13. DO NOT wash your hair in the shower!! It's so good to finally get a health warning that is useful!!! IT INVOLVES THE SHAMPOO WHEN IT RUNS DOWN YOUR BODY WHEN ...YOU SHOWER WITH IT. WARNING TO US ALL!!! Shampoo Warning! I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner! I use shampoo in the shower! When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body, and printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning, "FOR EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME." No wonder I have been gaining weight! Well! I got rid of that shampoo and I am going to start showering with Dawn Dishwashing Soap. It's label reads, "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE." Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone, I'll be in the shower!

    Blonde phones home

BLONDE PHONE CALL!! "Hi Mom, How are you?" "Hi Sally, where are you? I thought you were with your father at B&Q" "Yeah we were, but I got arrested, and they've let me make one phone call" "What happened?" "Oh, I punched a woman in the head." "What on earth, why did you do that?" "Well it wasn't my fault. Dad told me to find a Black & Decker."

    Stolen Engines

Progress, Dan has temporarily fitted the engines to the boats. Here's MegaByte and Sea Sparkle. Still need all the covers replacing (and gtearboxes refitting).
  19. Seconded.

    Stolen Engines

I had a bit of good news today, looks as though all the damage is confined to the cowl and the plastic covers around the leg. Which can all be replaced. So fingers crossed. It appears that Derek's engine is the same.
  21. Hi Charlie I moved the cursor over the corner of the area and read of the degrees at the bottom of the screen. It's in degrees and decimal of degrees so had to conver the decimal degrees to minutes. I make South of Weymouth area: Top left corner = 50 25.00' N 2 24.6' W Top right = 50 25.00' N 2 1.2' W Bottom left = 50 21.35' N 2 24.6' W Bottom right = 50 21.35' N 2 1.2' W

Already in hand, told insurance assessor I want the engine to go to Yellow Penguin as they're Suzuki agents, for a complete survey.
  23. I get: TopLeft of area = 50.6955 degrees N and 1.899 degrees W 50 41.73' N 1 53.94' W Bottom Right of area = 50.677 degrees N and 1.873 degrees W 50 40.62' N 1 52.38' W
