The ones going straight out mark the swash channel and are numbered. The others towards the Isle of wight, mark the East Looe channel, which can be a little shallow on Low Water Springs.

Well done Rob Nice eating size

I have seen that done many times at work, over the years. Most boat owners are very happy with the results. I am sure that fitting one is probably an option on those boats, so getting the correct positioning should not be an issue. Just depends what has to be moved to get room and run cables etc Give Simon Blackaller of Sidepower a call on 07415 197448. Tell him I gave you his number, I am sure he could advise and quote. Wendy and I had a late night on Saturday, so my permission was withdrawn😜. Lol

Good luck with any changes to try and get more Members taking part. I will look forward to hearing what is proposed. Wendy and I were hoping to take part in this Bass one, but only have Sunday available. Will only go if weather is good with Wendy crewing.

Hi All If you are out to watch the air show be careful of all the idiots in boats trying to anchor, and transit to and from the harbour. Lol Main point of this thread is to let you know that if you re-tune AM/FM radio to Hot Radio 102.8mhz , you can then hear the live commentary. In the past this has been a great help, when grandchildren are asking you which plane it is

As soon as I posted a picture of a fish in the bucket, and mentioned tub. I knew someone would bite, I wish angling was that simple

Thanks guys Wendy was chuffed, as the lads on Looby 4 saw on Sunday. Well done all that supported the event by taking part. I believe it is the 2nd time she has won this one.😁

No Probs We get a good late run of them before they depart, so we should get a chance to hook Leo up to one. If Dan's not available may invite Sam and Jack.
-
Perhaps we should set up a trip on a small tide in nice weather. It cannot be the weekend of 20th as that is Dan's wedding day and I would like him to come with us.

Ben was out at the weekend He reports a few on Saturday Back to same place on Sunday and got smashed up by a shark. It went dead for an hour afterwards, but then he started getting tope. Sorry that you and Leo missed out again.

Well what a day that was A few monster mackerel and then the skipper had a brain fade and decided to try some new spots. These seem to be covered in mini bream, lots of rattles on the rods , nothing hooked and baits gone in minutes. Eventually gave up and went back to Swanage Bay to a tried and trusted spot I had a tiny Small eyed 2lb 12oz Before Wendy hooked the bottom. Then it decided to swim off😁 What I thought was a nice undulate was I believe a very impressive Thornback weighed at 13lb 4 oz When Jerry came over to say hello, she was very Happy to let him and Chris know who caught it. Lol Saved a very slow day Charlie

I did think of having a go when in New Zealand, in a proper cage. Thankfully it blew at force 8 for the extent of our stay at Bluff, so we had a good excuse to bottle out. Not sure that plastic box ever looked strong enough
