  1. Apologies We are away on holiday😁, without rods😒
  2. Hi everyone Along with Paul Dore I have been helping Annie clear out some of Thomo's kit so she can be ready to move house closer to family. He had a couple of nice rods in her garage, two of which have gone and I have 2 left. One a brand new Rovex integra gold Kayak rod. 8-14lb £20.00 The other is a Snowbee Deep Blue Titanium Skad, 8ft, IGFA 20lb. £70.00 If anyone is interested please let me know. Both are new but without bags. I will put them in my car and take to tonight's meeting. Thanks Charlie

He had a selection of used buoys/fenders, that were spares from Manta Ray. If anyone is interested please let me know , I could bring them to tonight's meeting. for a charity donation. Thanks

  7. Well done for all the efforts so far Jerry I hope that you get a bit more support, I will try to get my Grandson onboard to join in before his Rugby season starts. I was hoping to fish Sunday, but apparently I have a football match to watch.
  8. Good luck everyone unfortunately my Grandsons are in Germany.
  9. Hope you are right I have switched working days/meetings
  10. Good to see pictures of Otter back afloat Trev Tight lines mate
  11. Done. I did state that I think their numbers of recreational boats that may apply for permits seemed very low at only 40 for England. Probably depends on the cost of permits, and suitable tackle and equipment.
  12. Well done Will And you Jerry for getting him out in this weather. I wonder if his dad knows how much that could cost him if he gets addicted like the rest of us.
  13. Thanks Mal I will find to do that very soon.
  14. Any thought of extending this into August Jerry?
  15. Agree with others pretty bad hitting a well known hazard. But even worse not using the liferafts
  16. Thanks Jerry I can only do Saturday , so will have fingers crossed for a weather window. Ben Allen and I are thinking that we may need an early start on Saturday, to use the tides to our advantage. I will have room for one or two more if anyone would like to join us, please contact me in the usual ways or post on this thread. Charlie

  21. My navlights and cabin lights were changed by just buying the led version of the lamps ( bulbs) Happy with those Hoi did the same formy deck lights. But they were not that bright so i changed the two units for very bright led ones. Mick. I would hope that it was an easy job for you. After all, your website name is sparky. Lol
  22. Thats great They were drifting next to us but certainly found more fish
  23. As others are saying You need to put a lot more rope out when the weather is choppy than at other times. That usually but not always works. Some times you have to change spot to one that is hard and rough and will hold the anchor better.
  24. Well done all, Wendy really enjoyed meeting up with old friends again. Sorry I was not there , but we had a good excuse, we were fishing.
