    Bank Loan

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack. 'Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.' Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager. Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral. The frog says, 'Sure. I have this,' and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed. Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office. She finds the manager and says, ' There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral.' She holds up the tiny pink elephant. 'I mean, what in the world is this?' (you're gonna love this) The bank manager looks back at her and says... 'It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan, His old man's a Rolling Stone.' (You're singing it, aren't you? Yeah, I know you are........) Never take life too seriously! Come on now, you grinned, I know you did!!! Have a lovely day
  9. Try loading on some of those Chew on this videos from you tube the Goliath Grouper and Hammerhead shark ones are awsome Thanks for the advice I will try it Charlie
  10. Simon Don't let him take you to his secret Rock mark You need more experiance before you will be ready to play those on light tackle Sorry Neal could not resist Simon that will be the perfect way to start, using good kit on a good boat is the best way to start off. I hope you also get some fish Charlie
  11. Hi Simon Did you say somewhere that you sail at Parkstone YC if so if you can get in early one thursday i will stop on for a chat Tackle is a lot of personal choice, but one thing to remember is that hardly anyone pays retail prices have a look on the websites Veals, Alderney angling UK Hooks and compare prices to what is on offer. That said Dan my son bought two excellent rods from Andy in Poole Angling centre the other week for
  12. Hi Simon You are right I have the 112c also imported Thanks for the tip, how do you save the images to the unit? and how do you open them to view the images Getting them on the card is no problem and I have purchased a few Gb of extra cards With all that spare memory you must be able to store videos on yours. I find the sonar recording very usefull when visiting wrecks/marks for the first time, keep the recordings short and then copy to the pc at home. As someone advised me if you try to run East-West or North- South and Vica Versa it seems to make more sense of the viewing Charlie
  13. Dan and I will be out wetting a line I expect we will probably have two spaces if anyone wants to join us get in touch If not and the weather is fine I will try and talk Wendy into a trip Charlie
  14. Well done guys some excellent fish at the top 107% only got 5th, and I know Prodigy had several more over 100% onboard Charlie
  15. Nice looking outfit Simon I bet you can not wait to get out That plotter looks impressive, It is a really good unit and a joy to use {Same as Alfresco] although I was advised not to get the HD as its only pre loaded with info for the states [it may have changed] If you have not used it before and want advice please ask Tight lines Charlie
  16. In Hindsight I think instead of moving back west we should have feathered more bait and had some drifts over those banks for the Bass on Sunday Charlie
  17. Nice one guys Maybe the winter codding will never be the same again we are all getting so confident that the cod are around that its a comp to see who catches one on the wierdest lure Hard to believe that serious anglers are steaming 20 plus miles out to try and not catch fish, but I saw it the other week with Adams banana peel on a leadhead Charlie
  18. Wow she has come on a pace in the few weeks since we popped up to have a look and a chat. The rails look good, I like the roof ones they remind me of something And the D fender looks better on the boat than in my garden. Cracking effort guys well done Charlie

If you get this Paul we just fished the solent and most marks fished in 3 days were loaded with weed Charlie
  21. Very Interesting We may all moan about the rising cost of fuel and the end of red diesel for liesure users in November will be another blow [ Does anyone know where a mast goes on an offshore??] But maybe just maybe there is a silver lining, I know a couple of beam trawlers I would not be to sad to see the back of. Charlie
  22. We are hoping to take the boat away for another holiday trip in the week ,but we hope to be back and given suitable weather intend to fish the comp If the weather is good Gordon and Neal should be joining Dan and I looking for some specimens Charlie
  23. hi Dave what Icom do you have and does it have the two wires out of it at the back with the small jack plug sockets on? One is for the extension speaker and the other for the nmea lead. If it does I may have a spare here, and nearly certain to have one at work somewhere. If you have the socket I will have a better look Charlie
  24. Nice one mate, I bet you are more than a little tired. Crossing the channel to the Islands will now be just a short hop. Its been great to follow your progress and I like you hope that Tom gets the chance to see the Explorer all the way to her home port welcome back to sunny Poole, I bet its warmer than Norway. Charlie
  25. Nice one Paul I wish mine was every 300 hrs Oil and filter changes every 100hrs , and with these offshore trips the hours fly by. Charlie
