Hi Jerry I see the forecast getting worse every time I check. Are you still hoping to fish this weekend, regardless of the weather. To be honest I would rather postpone by two weeks to the next set of smaller tides in November, but that is only my opinion the decision is rightfully with the committee. -

What a great post Ian Another skill that I did not know that retired Army personnel [PONGOS} were capable of. Credit to all of those educational hours in the various rugby club libraries. It was my pleasure to have you back on Alfresco again, the food was great, your company and stories very welcome and keeping the LSD away from my baits priceless. I hope that we can fish again on the competition weekend, Covid 19 and Weather permitting. 😀😀

Boats like that have been selling very easily this summer. Sam and a Member at work had to get there ones from Middlesbrough and Newcastle. Pop it on Boats and Outboards and I am sure you will get a buyer Good luck Pete

Wow Brian I recognise that, I had one on the wall in my workshop at RM Poole. comes out of the survival kit in a Navy 25 man liferaft. Actually used one once in the Indian Ocean when we ran out of shark rigs. I took it home when I retired from the RN, last year I took the hook off of the chain and up to Norway as a flying Gaff. Dave did a great job with it on my big flatty

A Blast from the past. May have to have another look and dip my toe back in.🤣

Thanks Andy I have used webcreate for years to transfer the info from my Lowrance plotter to and from PC and Laptop. Lowrance uses Navionics card. Also use the Garmin one from my other plotter to from the PC/laptop when I first had this boat I used to spend hours researching numbers and collecting marks from other fisherman and Divers, so much so that Lowrance is full. LOL I had Navionics on my phone and tablet for a while but that is not very user friendly in my opinion and I would rather use the plotters. It can be handy to have though, we got a bit of info from it last year when having a beer in the evenings at the fish camp at Skerjvoy in Norway Its just the system to transfer the information with SD cards that does not appear to work as well as it used to

Brilliant Happy 9th Birthday Blake Love the picture of the seasoned angler with his hands in his pockets while standing by his new to fishing buddy Harvey. Well done Chris, those sort of trips are not easy for the responsible adult, but the looks on the boys faces give you all the thanks that you need. Charlie
