  11. Hi mate That sounds like a plan, I was tempted yesterday. But decided to pick an easier plan Charlie
  12. Hi guys No phone calls or texts so I decided to go alone again With the time of the tides no need to start at the crack of dawn, 0830 before I left the harbour A few mackerel in the tank, then anchor down Plenty of dogs around again, then a 10lb undulate A small bass then a very stroppy and large for the area tope of about 30lb, on light gear that one caused some problems with the other lines before chomping through the trace and another line next to the boat As the tide eased even more dogfish and a blonde ray about the same size as the undulate 1500 came around quick, then time to head in so that we could attend another great club BBQ this evening. A very busy and enjoyable day in the sunshine.
  13. Thinking that I may go out and have a look for a few rays tomorrow I have not organised a crew and it may be late to do so, But if anyone fancies it give me a bell/text 07887 794716 Will be back in time to put the boat away and get to the BBQ Charlie

  15. Nice report mate 5 species added on a poor day Bet you enjoyed the hard fighting scorpion fish. Charlie
  16. Hi graham As it had water in it why not give it a damn good flush with fresh water Then I would definately presure test the tanks, before doing any more to rig them for use. If they leak the task to get them into use could be huge If the tanks are sound you need a good filler and vent arrangement, plus a solid line from the bottom of the tank to an in line water and dirt filter near the engine. The flexible fuel line then goes from the filter to the engine connector. POp in to see me at work mate and I can show you some examples
  17. I know where you are coming from Chris Try working in a marina and listening to sailors moaning about lack on wind all day
  18. Thanks martin
  19. Hi Martin Any chance of posting a thread about how you did that report with pictures on your phone mate If you can keep it simple to follow, I May try it on our next trip
  20. Happy Birthday all I hope that you got some useful fishy presents and get the time and weather to use them
