thers boats kept dow in the yard down at dads work which are the same size as paul j boat on trailers and they launch thers without a car but i dont think they would let me keep it down there im not sure. does anybody know any good makes of boat which i will be able to get second hand for not to much. talking about 1k. sam

FINALLY IT HAS ARRIVED the conolon rod and abu ambasseder reel which i have been waiting for, for 4 months finally arrived today. i need to get a trip out now to test my new rod the ideal pollacking rod. so if any if you are heading out, i need to test my rod after paul was taking the mic saying how good is conolon was when we were on the shambles i finally got one. lets hope it lives up to its name and catches me my aim for this year my 10lb pollack sam

im thinking between 14 and 16 but nothing fancy maybe a fold up cabin but maybe get a resonable size engine to give it a bit of push 20hp? any advise is handy tight lines sam

we used it today and soon as we used it we caught bream. the size is good but we found it did leave the bag very quick. sam

nicwe to hear you had a good day we headed off to the banks first thing and didnt catch anything came back in next to illusion on the patch and had some wrasse moved closer in to a rough spot had more wrasse and 6 nice bream thanks to magnet groundbait they were caught in scent trail. finished the day drifting inside harbour finished with a nice 3lb wrasse for me. shame no bigger fish but nice to be out bring on the hot sunny days catching bream and tope. tight lines sam

hi guys i dont know if any of you saw it in the bfm the orkney in the pink pages for 1000 pounds. well this kind of took my fancy but not very trendy and a bit sluggish only being powered by 8hp and same size boat as neo. does anybody know were i can have a look at any more for around the same price not looking for anything massive just for trips round and just outside the harbour. thanks in advance sam

yes you can if you head over to the west you can catch many tope if you have got fresh bait, mackie and garfish. me and my dad have both had 45lb ones there and my brother a 42lb one sam edited admin
