    why is it always the really cheesey ones that are funny like. how do you get rid of varnish, take away the 'r' i no im sad sam

  9. rich they also ruin the fishing. what i found quite funny was when a rib turned up wanted to go down next to us and we were the ones chucking around 6/o hooks. sam

  12. i just brought a 6500 off alun is this a good reel for pretty much any smaller species. sam

  15. i just stay out the way, alot easier to go and read the sea angler been brushing up on the pollacking techniques ready for the pollacking trips and also reading about the bass. were would you say i have a good chance of catching a half decent bass and what baits, im guessing sandeels. we caught alot on rag last time when the sandeels were on the surfice and the bass were attacking the seagulls over the sandeels. sam

    Rope Splicing

    dad taught me how to splice a rope but then i forgot. got a memory like a sieve. sam

  20. the boat is nearly finished and will be in the water for sunday. will be nice to be back on gw and soon be off round to st albans. paul remember that you and helen are invited on the trip after the times you have taken me. does anybody know what the wrasse and pollack fishing is like round pevril ledge at this time of year have they arrived yet. sam

    Flipping Boat

    paul if you need a crew for the maiden voyage i would love to come. trying to learn how boats work a bit more now because soon dad will trust me with gw the more experience the better. sam

  23. maybe it was a good idea to cancel the trailaway, on the 15th there might be some bass around also. me and dad were working on gw today and were surprised by the weather in the morning and were thinking of you out there. we were just about to paint the deck and what does it do it rains so came home early after looking at all the ribs in the yacht club and dreaming about my own boat again. sam
