  1. I am happy to organise meals a little nearer the time to avoid so many changes. I will give them warning, though. Last night Harbour Lights again? Second night Rea's (was The Moorings), I can just book and choose meals on the night, and free on the first night as I expect Adam will want to go to Marais Hall. Terry.
  2. I'm waiting for the word, Greg. Terry.
  3. Have a really good day, Dave. Take the day off work, tell the boss I said it would be o/k. Terry.
  4. Rob, I think Malcolm is referring to Le Swinge. Everyone has got through there. So far! Terry.

  6. Thank you for all your good wishes, Dilys says thanks as well. Still hoping to see a few good folks at the fisherman's do. Terry.
  7. Alright for some! My life has suddenly got more hectic; Dilys has a broken arm which is very inconvenient for me, no consideration at all. Aparently she is well in credit so I have to pull out all the stops with TLC. Terry.
  8. Just got an allotment that has been ignored for 2 years and just want to bash it up for the first time. I think digging would take me the next two years. Terry.

    Merry Tiller

Anyone got a Merry Tiller they would like to part with, I can give one a good home. If you have one or know where one is, could you let me know with the price. Ta! Terry.
  10. Four guys have been going on the same fishing trip for many years. This year, Ralph's wife puts her foot down and tells him he isn't going. And thus he calls his buddies and tells them the bad news. Two days later, the other guys arrive at the camping site to begin their yearly fishing getaway. And of all things, they find Ralph sitting there with a tent already set up. "Dang Ralphie boy, how did you talk your missus into letting you go?" "Well, yesterday evening, after my wife finished reading "Fifty Shades Of Gray," she pulled me into our bedroom. On the bed she had handcuffs and ropes! She told me to tie and cuff her to the bed, and I did." Then she said, "Do whatever you want." So, Here I am ! Terry.
  11. Thank you everyone, nice you took the trouble to remember an old git. Hope to see some of you soon. Terry.
  12. Thank you VERY much! Terry.
  13. You have a lot of history behing your choice, the old Poole canoes were flat bottomed. Usually between 10/14 feet long and used for working/fishing in the harbour. Probably not wholly suitable for the bay, especially in anything but calm conditions. An example. There is also a Poole Canoe Club. Terry.
  14. These folks may be a little closer for the Stazo, C-Quip Limited 8 - Fulcrum One Solent Way Whiteley Hampshire PO15 7FE United Kingdom CQUIP Terry.
  15. To paraphrase someone, if you're tired of boats and fishing from them, you're tired of life. Got to be better than worm drowning! Terry.
  16. PM me your details and I'll see how to get it to you. Terry.
  17. Cue Jim (Smallfry). Terry.
  18. If there is any club member who would like to make themselves a simple bait tank with no complicated plumbing, I have the necessary pump for you. It is an American Keep Alive system which comprises an aerating pump that sits on the bottom of the tank with an air-in tube and an aerated water out tube. All that is needed is a 12v supply, cables included. This is fine for smelt, sand eels, pout or small pollack, no good for mackerel as they need replenished water and movement. This will cost you a pint at a club meeting or function. Terry.
  19. I don't think you're going to get a helpful reply in the public section of the site, that sort of information is not for general consumption. Terry.
  20. Do they come with any recipe recommendations? Terry.
  21. Go for it, I am and you don't catch fish sitting at home, only regrets. Terry.
  22. Thanks for the support, Rob, but I can't blame the BBQ, apart from about 20 minutes chatting, I spent the evening in the bedroom. I shall definitely be doing my best to put Imagine in the top part of the comp results. Terry.
  23. I think we need a new annual award, The Golden Trumpet. Rob would win it this year but doesn't need it really, he has his own. Terry.
