  1. Craig, why do you always have to be difficult? Don't like my steak, being kept waiting. God alive! 2nd night is the Moorings night, so 1st night is the free one or alternative so I'll put you down for the Moorings and try for a different suggestion for the first night. Is that all right you awkward sod? Terry.
  2. Rob, the fish and chips option was not intended to be bookable so that would come under the 'evening free' option, then I only book for those who require it. I don't think there is anything else that doesn't require a hike up to the town but if anyone has an alternative suggestion for the first night, spark up. Terry.
  3. O/k chaps, it's that time again, who wants to eat where in Alderney. For the first night, I have spoken to a few people and none of those seem to want to eat at the Marais Hall on the first night. The concensus seems to be fish and chips or The Moorings by the Harbour. Let me know what you fancy and we can either leave that open or I can book places at The Moorings. Perhaps an alternative suggestion might be in order as we usually go to the Moorings on the second night. If everybody is happy, I will book our gala dinner for the Harbour Lights, as usual. So, to summarise: 11th May free or The Moorings 12th May The Moorings 13th May Harbour Lights. Make a list and put your preference for the first night. Presumably Charlie and Co. will be having an 'Alfresco' meal one of the evenings. Terry.
  4. I can! Terry.
  5. Just noticed that we have a new category for number of entries, Tarpon Tamer. Only noticed because I caught it out of the corner of my eye and thought it said something else. I thought to myself, "peculiar". Terry.
  6. Don't you like your Warrior, Mike? An awful lot of folks think they are great and are very happy with them. Not being sucked into green eye syndrome by those buying bigger toys? It's just that time of year. Terry.
  7. I got the four I fitted to the stern of Stingray from ebay, a reputable make but a bit cheaper. Make sure you choose the correct ones, vertical or angled. Terry.
  8. Interesting. Perhaps we need to be more adventurous. Terry.
  9. You must have all led very sheltered lives. Very good! Terry.
  10. No, no problems like that. Should have bought a Warrior, I never have any problems with my bog, just throw everything over the side. Terry.
  11. A Very Happy Birthday to you Paul. Day indoors with a bottle or two? Terry.

All the very best for today, Tom, hope you have a good 'un. Terry.
  13. I'll bet if you 'phone the Crimestoppers number you'll get as much action as now. Probably the answer will be to always phone the Anti Terrorist number and mention guns. Terry.
  14. Facebook sent me a reminder that it is your birthday on the 3rd. Strange, just checked your page and it shows 1st. Confusing! Terry.

    Old git!

Very many Happy Returns, Martin, although I'm a little confused. Another site is telling me that your birthday is on the 3rd. I'm just covering bases. Have a good one. Terry.
  16. Bu@@er, too late! That'll teach me to go out for a curry. Terry.
  17. I would also appreciate an update as I'm holding a lot of beds for 11th - 14th May. Have I missed something? Terry.

    Racism

Subject: The Vicious Side of Racism Racism Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to scream 'racism' these days. A customer asked, "In what aisle could I find the Guinness?" The shop assistant asks, "Are you Irish?" The guy, clearly offended, says, "Yes I am. But let me ask you something,

    Friday 13th

With regards to your engine problems, I have experienced the same. I don't live a million miles away from you (18 to be precise) and have found that adding the wind chill factor to a cold day, 1) the cooling system freezes up and no water gets through to the tell tale and 2) occassionally the cables freeze which means full throttle does not work until things warm up. Now on cold days I wrap the engine in a blanket for the trip down and give the cables a good 'jiggling' to free them and make sure the rods at the engine end are free before starting. Hope this helps. Good day out though. Terry.
  20. Many happy returns, youngster. Terry.
  21. Keep the faith, Greg, third time lucky. Terry.
  22. Dab for me too. Terry.
  23. Sorry about the pizza, should have put Wimpy Bar. And thanks for the 'phone addition. Terry.
  24. A very Happy Birthday, Gordon. 53 eh! Now you're becoming an Old Moore, isn't it time you wrote an almanac? Terry.
