Its' been a long drawn out summer for me and at times very frustrating, but I'll not bore you all with the sordid details ..................... some of you know anyway but I just wish to move on now.
Everything happens for a reason!
I had the pleasure of a first sea trial after the re-power, albeit harbour bound, on Friday. I just got to say I haven't stopped grinning yet.
Took her out again today. From Cobbs out and hugging the coast to Hengist. Head and then punched out against a heavy sea at just over displacement speed to the needles and south to keep an eye on you guys. Then back to base at 22 knots with a following sea. All in all a very mixed journey with some WOT some cruise and some heavy displacement during the passage.
Covered over 40 miles, used 50 litres of fuel.
Found a trim tab stuck fully down so had drag all the way.
Harbour speed trial still interesting though.
0-29.8 knots in 12 seconds - 1nm in 1 min 50 seconds
Awesome
When I fix the trim tab, prop up a pitch and fit the right ratio I'll report back
Happy for now though
