Thank you to all of the committee for last year's hard work looking after us. Thank you all for accepting the rolls again. I know we're frequently short on saying Thank you & Applauding your efforts but EVERY re-election was unanimous. Take that as a BIG THANK YOU from us all. Good to see so many people turn up ! Some with a very long drive. Thank you to Lofty for being the Kayak rep and the offers of help to any kayakers. Thanks to Sandy & her ( not so glamorous ) assistant for running the raffle. Thanks to Carol, Mike & Dave for the life jacket clinic. I am proud to be a member of this great club. Jim I know Rob's going to say something about Long Drives. The queen probably has the longest at one of the palaces !

Blimey Jacob ! 13 Old enough to chase girls ! Just not old enough to catch them. Have a slice of cake in stead. Far less trouble ! ! Hope the weather improves so you can show Grandad how to catch fish again. He'll have forgotten everything he learned last year. I always do. Tiddler.

I would fully agree with this apart from a few things: As MB says: Commercials can still catch them. Introducing SEALS to the Bass nursery: No one to police shore fishing ( British or not ) Holiday makers just ignoring it. I dare say there's many more unfair things but these came straight to my head. Thank you Charlie. You put a lot of work into this for us and translate a lot of Jargon so people like me can understand it. Jim

They spent months last year strengthening the Bypass bridges. They're now doing it again. Did they only do ½ a job last time ? Did someone accidentally send the works order out again ? Good to know that our dosh is being used so wisely and that all of the struggling to get home after work is for a good reason !

Just been to Asda in Poole. Twin sails closed for maintenance. Why the flipping heck are the lights at the Blandford road end working as normal. They're stopping traffic when there's NOBODY there ! Of all the things that can be done in the modern age . . . . . . . .why can't they be switched to using the detectors so that on the off chance someone did want to access the businesses they could but the extra traffic on the Blandford road could proceed. I had a small queue going towards Poole but the poor devils coming back were queuing back from Riggler road all the way to Towngate bridge. ( At 6:45pm ) If anyone knows someone on the council to forward this to then please do ! ! !
