  5. Hi Mike, I used to have a Warrior 165 and sold it to downsize for 2 reasons. 1 ) laziness. 2 ) Knackered knees. I can tell you they are a very well built and solid boat. They are very good on the water. Warrior in my experience are a superb company to deal with and are always happy to help. They are great for advice too. You can tow with a medium sized car ( check you car's spec ) It will be a braked trailer so if you're buying second hand make sure it has a hub flush system ( they are fantastic ) Bearing savers too. Beware buying with a small engine. I think 50 hp is too small. I had an E-Tec 75 on mine and it was great. I now have a Honda 50 ( on my little Tiddler ) and although it's a superb engine. The servicing costs are a pain. If you go for a four stroke larger engine you will probably need Trim tabs. ( I think Brian has them ) Anyway . . . . that's enough waffle from me. Hope I've been of some help. Jim

  10. Is there actually a place called " Gibber " Or is it purely fictional and just used to explain text at ½ past wine bottle ? Or 4 past Doombar ? ?
  11. Would have loved to do that one. Nothing in the film that I can't do ! ( From a filming perspective of course ) My best mate came down from the midlands last weekend and in all the years we'd been mates I never knew he was so bad with heights. I am really bad with heights but he's much worse. I almost felt brave as we looked over railings into the depths at Corfe Castle ! Jim
  12. That's exactly what I thought !
  13. A very Happy Birthday Tony. Are you on this weight loss thing ? No beer. No Cake. Have a very small plate of grass cuttings and a nice healthy glass of water ! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . B***er it ! It's your Birthday. Just the ONE won't hurt ! . . . . . . . . . . .. A VERY large glass of wine & a Ginormous slice of cake then ! . . . . . " Just the one " Jim

Hi Matt, I never met you or your Dad but I know you are both well liked in the club. I was probably about your age when my Dad died ( long time ago now ) You'll learn with time not to dwell on the sadness but to remember the good stuff ( and a little cry every now and again always helps ) I wish you well for the future. Jim
