  19. Stuie . . . . . . . . . I keep telling you. Size is not important. Mine's a Tiddler ! ! Now then. What I need is a boat with a skipper, & a competent person to catch & release ( instruction will be given ) and enough room for myself as pilot. So let's see what avails itself. Jim

  21. Just looked at Sunday's weather. Late morning ( for the late risers ) now looks very do-able. 10mph breeze from the north gives us plenty of shelter in the bay. I can be available early or late. Don't care. I need a boat to use for take off & landing and a volunteer to catch & release my quadcopter. Not asked Martin or Steve yet. Does someone want to organize this and let me know what's happening? When I try to organize it it all falls through. Sunday is now looking quite good. The earlier the better to avoid the Brummy navy Jim

  25. Drove down to Cobb's in the fog. The marina was clear & bright. The water was like glass. What a beautiful morning for filming ! Headed off to catch the 7:30 lift and collect Dean from the Quay. The fog was quite thick as we passed Asda / RNLI but quickly cleared again as we neared the Quay. Good old Dean brought us a bacon & egg bap along with our signing in papers and bait. Stopped at Peveril for a few mackerel but no joy there so headed off to Dancing ledge. Fished one spot for a while with no joy so moved and started to catch. ( well done skipper ) As the tide increased and swung us around we stopped catching. We found a few fish throughout the day and increased Martin's species tally. Total species for the day were: Baby conger, Doggies, Mackerel, Bream, Spotted Ray ( see picture ) and a special Rockling ( see picture ) I won £40.00 tackle vouchers for my 2lb 9oz Bream ( that's a first for me ) Thanks Martin & Dean for a brilliant day out. Jim
