    winch post

Anyone know where i can get hold of a 'heavy duty' winch post to suit a warrior 165? (needs to be quite high) my last one has failed due to very poor welding , made by Ambrose trailers , i'm no expert on welding but now the galvanised surface has been torn you can see it's quite shoddy welding. Any help welcome, i did try sbs trailers but no response to tech questions yet, or do you know someone who could make one (proper welding essential) Gary

  16. i got my 60hp from South Coast Marine , 2006 model, I went in looking for a 75hp, but was talked into a 60hp......i was told this was more than enough power for my boat......i now have a 15" prop and the engine put upto the second hole (done by myself). They fitted it with a standard 17" prop ......these are massive compared to other makes and engine put on the lowest hole... I can,t compare to a 75hp as i have not been on one.....but i would like to see the difference when hitting a bit of tide. mine used to nearly stop until i made the adjustments. don't forget to allow servicing costs if comparing to a 4/ , this will be a BIG difference especially in the first 3 yrs, PM me if you want to know the exact price i paid Gary

    Smart Tab Actuator

Paul you can get them from USA http://www.nauticusinc.com/ss_price_list.htm $32 each plus about $40 delivery could try here http://www.imsupplies.co.uk/home.php and ask if they can get parts. There must be a few boats with smart tabs looking for spares now, i'm looking at some gator rubbers that have perished (actuator still works fine). let us know if you find a parts dealer, if you decide to go stateside maybe we could share shipping costs Gary
