i got my 60hp from South Coast Marine , 2006 model,
I went in looking for a 75hp, but was talked into a 60hp......i was told this was more than enough power for my boat......i now have a 15" prop and the engine put upto the second hole (done by myself). They fitted it with a standard 17" prop ......these are massive compared to other makes and engine put on the lowest hole...
I can,t compare to a 75hp as i have not been on one.....but i would like to see the difference when hitting a bit of tide. mine used to nearly stop until i made the adjustments.
don't forget to allow servicing costs if comparing to a 4/ , this will be a BIG difference especially in the first 3 yrs, PM me if you want to know the exact price i paid
