I have sent Bathclaret an email , also found this on his 'find all posts' on his home page? I'm sure they done something to the hull ......perhaps i will ask warrior Gary P.S jim, tell Brian it's only a matter of time before one of the kids walks on his best rod so better get some 'rod savers' Unless Paul & Phil's plans changed after I was up at the factory in April, the new boat has a completely new hull design - with a softer ride intended more for "family" use. They had also taken quite a lot of weight out of it compared to the 165/Pro Angler. It's hard to tell on the photos, but the new design also had no moulded clinkering. I also saw the "Warrior Arvor" in Leyland - maybe they'll eventually get this finished in a year or three, just in time for me thinking about upgrading the 175 Duncan

cheers for the input lads, Adam, did you ever launch from Cobbs, would i get away from not using a 4x4 here ? (went from mudeford once.......new prop ) Jim, need to think about new car or 4x4 to pull first, then sort the drive out so i can reverse the trailer without pushing by hand so i'll be months or years yet also, are you intending to stop making the 'baguette holders'(do i need to keep hold of them) Dave, your site is the second place i looked (first warrior). But still can't find any info on old/new hull type ? but if anyone knows about the difference between a old hull type and new and what the differences are please let me know. thanks again Gary
-
Just wondering if anyone knows the trailer weight of one of these, the best i can get is the hull weight .......some say 750kg, web site says 850kg. Is that a different hull....if so , what year did it change ? what are the changes if it is a new hull ? i should think it would be between 1200 and 1400 kg but any help would be gratefully recieved also... anyone still own one locally? gary

Think i would go with a threat of trading standard/police and solicitor. sounds like there taking the p*ss a bit........ Please don't be shy about naming and shaming the company and people involved(fitters etc) Gary
-
If its going to be nice and sunny like today it would be worth a 'go' try the shallower marks away from the big lumps of lead your going to need further out let us know how you get on Gary
-
Not for me thanks Mike. But if you ever need a buddy boat from baiter give us a shout don't seem to get many pbsbac launching from here at weekends (not that i go as often as i would like) Gary

I have brought a braked axle from Trailertek (winchester), if i remember it was a very easy site to work out what size axle you require etc, and fast delivery by courier service. Gary

Jim, you have email.......it says could take up to 7hrs to download on older stuff like mine also wouldn't know how to send it afterwards to John Gary

probably too big for me, i was looking at Honda CRV size or similar, trying to get 40mpg if possible......also thought about VW Passat or Saab diesel models. what are your thoughts on these type??? Cheers anyway Gary
-
shame it didn't have 4 seats ........could have been tempted. Might be on the look out in the future for something capable of towing 1.5ton -2 ton. family vehicle, must be ecconomical diesel or petrol with low road tax(this seems to be going higher and higher). been looking at family saloons but getting confused with towing capacity's i'm sure this will sell quickly Nigel Gary

Exactly the same report as above except no dabs fished a bit further inshore than the other bigger boats i think, but pleased with what we caught Gary
-
Hi all, Just got the new webcam working on my computer.......and feeling pleased with myself It needs someone to shimmey up the pole and clean the camera screen, but apart from that i'm very impressed anyone else use it ? (glad i'm not out there at the mo!!! ) Gary could this go on the links for easy access?
-
Brian, not always the prop's fault think about what hole the engine height is set on Gary
-
Charlie, you can hire steamer from Brandon hire it's only a small one but better than pressure washer!! should be able to hire a better one somewhere else afraid i cant help you with workshop or clean off area Gary
-
Did you clean the engine yet to see where leak is starting from......this will be a horrible job but will take a lot of guess work out of it Would it be worthwhile getting it steam cleaned to help you, may pay dividends in the end. Good luck Gary
-
Feeling old yesterday (birthday), hugging a bag of frozen peas on a slipped disc for most of the day better day today.........a trip to the osteopath I hope he's gentle Gary
-
If your still playing with ideas with the holders ...............keep hold of them a bit longer I need to get out fishing first before i need one As with the jackets.......if you don't get a better offer your more than welcome to borrow mine .... (size depending) Gary
-
If you want to 'borrow' some Jim i have some here You may need to see them first one's a bit grubby .......but 150n and fully automatic can you get there chest sizes and weight in Kilos?? got one upto 30kg and one upto 20kg if you like i can bring them over one evening.........need to visit you anyway (rod holder) Gary

Graham. I would position the winch just a tad higher than the boats winching position. If this is going to be the bow/anchor post then you will have to get a post made up and try and balance on trailer while winching. I think it would be worth while trying to get a winching eye fitted in the correct postion on the boat Try and get a winching strap rather than wire as the wire will embed itself and become a pain in the ass Let us know how you got on Best of luck Gary
-
graham, What kind of winch do you have ?......twin speed heavey duty ? have a look for these during your visit. Also 'winch post' position makes hell of a difference if too high or too low looking at your earlier pics i can see she must weigh a fair bit so rollers could be the answer.....but more expense Gary
-
Jim, got an exact model here you could use, prefer stainless steel though........no plastic or rubber models for me thankyou very much if you want to borrow the 'model'for a look we'll sort somethig out. perhaps if others are interested in some they could voice their opinions preferences. or get an idea how many to make Gary
-
Jim, do you think someone could make up some adjustable rod holders for side rails? they would have to move to different angles etc ? I would certainly be interested in some if they came out to the right design Gary
-
Mike, Don't buy stainless steel unless you are 100% sure they are '316' marine grade unless you like rust marks all over your gunwales..... Gary
-
Mark, i think what your after is which one will give you more chart information such as tidal flows, tide times of different ports etc. I can't tell you which chart is the best for that information because I'm on a different Chart system to you.............but i bet there's a few on here who can tell you the benifits between the two different charts. Just ask the right questions and wait Gary
