    Aquabuff

I was thinking of doing mine (warrior 165), but was hoping to get someone to do it Keep meaning to phone that place Wedger used, but time just seems to vanish at the mo, might be better to get it done by the pro's as the hull is all chines and curves etc. Unless you fancy another challenge Mike Gary
  5. Mike where are you launching from ? got a warrior myself , If your going from Baiter.....wind and tide will be on your side when you return.(rope it out). don't fancy the forecast myself though.......i'll save me brownie points for a better day Gary
  6. WD40 will dry-out.... quickly!......Charlie is right about the white grease Gary
  7. Hi Mike, you just missed a recent thread on this about 2 or 3 weeks ago, i have had the Hub Duck system fitted and i'm very pleased with it, tried it out yesterday and worked a treat normally i used to aim the hose pipe round the back plate through the dust cap hole......getting soaked in the prosess have a search on here for the thread.....if you can't find it i expect someone will put a link for you (if only i knew how) also look on ebay/google for Hubduck (about
  8. Try googling for a mariner help forum? I know Evinrude have one with most questions answered by evinrude mechanics, perhaps there is something similar for you......or even try the evinrude site http://www.etecownersgroup.com/ best of luck gary

    baiters car park

I would fight this one many a time i have asked the traffic warden......are we o.k to park here (baiter slipway carpark).....and have been told ...'yes sir it is the vehicle with the permit not the trailer and boat' i have done this loads of times mainly when walking into Poole on the evenings of car/motorbike stuff and never had a ticket. I would write a letter and tell them what the traffic warden told you when you asked them about parking(afraid you can't remember their number though) best of luck Gary
  10. yep 2 batteries fitted in cupboard under steering wheel with a 1battery .... 2 battery... off switch isolator. i put one of these on after the outboard trim switch decided to trim the engine up all on it's own while i was at work one day and burn it out regards axle i use to run a single axle on 10" braked wheel until i could afford a new axle and 13" wheel set up.(10" wheel was from when i bought it and not by choice). don't worry one day we will meet at Baiter....then you will have loads of ideas to keep you busy through the summer Gary
  11. got them on mine, only good thing i can think of is handling purposes when pulling the boat into position for the trailer. also may come in handy for keeping anchor warp under control on alderney set up better to spend your money on some rod tubes for radar arch....had some last year and i must say i am very happy with them.(look on ebay or ask small fry) don't think i would allow anyone to sit on bow when moving, one slip and the prop go's straight through them.......plenty of ground bait then gary

    baiters slipway

if you need any help showing you getting the boat back on the trailer just ask.......better to ask now because once the fish are in you're on you're own i normally put the trailer in the water till the back rollers are just covered, the shallower the water the easier it is to line up for the rollers the rollercoaster trailer with a good winch will pull the boat onto the trailer in only a few inches of water if needs be Baiterpark slipway charges are inclusive of harbour dues I might push the boat out and pay for 12 months launching at cobbs this year (excuse the pun) and give my back a rest If your reading this Brian can you tell me what it's like on a normal summer sunday eve about 5-6pm compared to Baiter Gary

    baiters slipway

summer time there is no problem with sand on the slipway..........it,s the other things that get in the way ............(by about June you'll know what i mean), with the best to come in August bank holiday serious now.........never really had any problems up to January time of year ,but i would carry a shovel in the winter....just in-case have you had practice launching your warrior before or do you need practice ? also did you know about getting a 12 month parking ticket for the slipway (about
  14. eggie, i'd fish for plaice .......try southbourne rough or not too much traffick look in the swash channel......drift both marks. or pollock further out on the wreck's......had some nice ones myself couple of weeks ago us warrior's gota look after each other , where do you launch from, drive from?? if your going that far please make sure you have all the safety side of things covered (not much help out there at the mo) Gary

  19. Great pics .....but i can't see the back of the plate.....so still a bit unsure of what connector i need is this what i need !!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CK-1-2-Brass-Interna...=item3ca3532220 can't seem to get one any smaller Gary
  20. Any pics would be very welcome.....or a 'look see' as i'm trying to do something similar.....at the moment i take the dust cap off at the back plate and use the hose pipe to flush the brakes, good in the summer but in the winter on your knees with a hose going all over your face ain't much fun don't fancy paying out a fortune if it can be made myself...or with the help of others Gary
  21. If you look even closer it says delivery with a star above it like this delivery* then scroll down....collect in person..... let us know how you get on what about a brass tank connector with a hose pipe tap reducer attached to the thread side, or would this be too big ? Gary
