  5. Sea Angling species hunt at the end - a few hoops to jump through - unlike ours... http://anglingtrust-news.net/3XSU-7AL6-9A2NFPBK77/cr.aspx
  6. All the secrets are coming out now - must be your age Martin....
  7. Tony took Neal and I out on his very comfortable Serenity. Straight to Dancing Ledge where the fish weren't too obliging, although I was fortunate to find a keeper. Eventually the tide eased and we moved back to Ballard and met the armada. We dropped straight onto fish - and of a better 'stamp' than those at Dancing Ledge - although nothing else to weigh. Mine scraped 2lb 8.5oz. Thanks for a most enjoyable day Tony - looking forward to the next one - if I'm allowed.
  8. The harbour isn't good for the bigger bream at the moment - try Poole patch for starters SE from the harbour for a couple of miles or so, Should be a few boats therabouts. Other marks are further afield. Watch out for crab pots..Swanage way is another option - others may well be fishing there too. Welcome and good luck.
  9. You're right Jerry - you need to register on here for the club comp. with the names of members who are taking part - and call in at Poole Sea Angling centre and register there with boat and entrants names.

    Howdy

Pleased to see you've taken the plunge Tim - Lofty will also be chuffed with your company.
  17. Ms Moon totally scuppered the Warsash commercial fishermen's arguments - well found Coddy. I see our illustrious member Nigel Horsman is mentioned in the Warsash argument.
  18. Hve a good one - a few more years and you too will be entitled to a bus pass...
  19. I refer the honourable gentleman to the remark I made earlier..........
  20. Nearly missed you - hope you're celebrating.... Enjoy.
  21. We were unsuccessful today at Ballard - not a touch and no fish at all showing on the sounder. Patch is a much better bet. Flat ground between the lumps is favourite - cast around too.
  22. Nice one Rob - takes all of 5 seconds to sign.....
  23. Some of you will know Tony Way who has asked that members be advised that he is selling his boat 'Two Ways'. The vessel is usually on a swinging moring near Salterns Marina. It's 7metres long with a Volvo D3 engine - outdrive leg echo sounder, radar etc. Anyone interested should contact Jason Way - Tony's son - 07735532922 for more details
  24. Don't lose heart Rob - just keep nibbling away - eventually who knows....
