  1. Would anyone attending the Dorchester meeting like to share transport? I live in Poole town and I am happy to drive.
  2. Switch the computer off with the disc in the drive - then switch it on again - if you haven't already tried it.
  3. Wow, well done both of you. Nigel you found another one, two, three, four , five, six, seven then.

    More cod :)

A nice session indeed - well done both of you.
  5. I was pleased to accept an invite from Mike to have a short harbour session aboard Frisky Fox yesterday. Fishing wasn't hectic but a few species came aboard while drifting and at anchor, with Mike finding one or two good ballans to put a nice bend in his rod. A couple of plump flounders rounded off the day quite nicely. Mike has George well trained - he allowed both Mike and I to get ahead in the catch stakes. Thanks Mike for allowing me to clutter up Frisky Fox for a few hours with my king sized box.. I was really impressed with your yacht - it's the first proper yacht I've been aboard. Heating, showers, beds, oven etc etc it's all way above the (non existent) facilities aboard Sea Dream. You both made me feel very welcome and I really enjoyed the whole experience.
  6. Mike, I'm considering going out - sent you a PM.
  7. Terry, I think Mick means that you claim the mooring cost from the responsible car driver's insurance.

    Which club member?

Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked up the boat up to the van, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad all day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed.. I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible." My loving wife of 5 years replied, "And, can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?" And that's how the fight started...

    Man & woman

When everyone on earth was dead and waiting to enter Paradise, God appeared and said, "I want the men to make two lines. One line is for the men who were true heads of their household, and the other line for the men who were dominated by their women. I want all the women to report to St. Peter." Soon, the women were gone, and there were two lines of men. The line of men who were dominated by their wives was 100 miles long, and in the line of men who were truly heads of their household, there was only one man. God said, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves, I created you to be the head of your household! You have been disobedient and have not fulfilled your purpose! Of all of you, only one obeyed. Learn from him." God turned to the one man, "How did you manage to be the only one in this line?" The man replied, "My wife told me to stand here."
  19. 1) Silent 'P' as in Sea? 2) A portapotty is much more comfortable.
  20. You'd better show them yours then Tony.
  21. Check these out for value. Jigs I use them below launce & mackerel feathers - they seem to improve response. I've yet to give them a proper trial for more sought after fish.
