We missed storm Eunice by 3hrs and flew off on holiday only to hear lots of damage to return to!!!! Looking at the next 4 days weather a miracle has unfortunately not happened, as everyone has seen! The Cod Comp is cancelled, how ever if a miracle does happen and any of you local lucky skippers make it out, pictures please. At least this Christmas has been a little better than last year regards being able get about and see people. Happy New Year and let’s hope 2022 continues to be a positive one.

As as I type this Tuesday looks possible, I think the best idea is please watch the weather and skippers make your own decision with safety being paramount. Dear All, We have decided to open the Comp one more day to try and find a weather window. Cod and Whiting Comp can now be fished on 27th 28th 29th or 30th December. I will post over the Christmas period the weather, but please use your own discretion and look carefully at the weather before deciding to fish.
