  4. There always used to be a demarcation quite near the harbour entrance above which you needed a rod licence. I know for sure when I fished Stanpit ( for Sea Bass ) that a rod licence was required, as had it checked by EA person, so I am not so sure you have been given the correct information ?
  5. Doing the booking in at Christchurch now, unless anyone else wants to offer. Someone had better turn up to book in !! Then off to Rockley to fish the comp with Dave HH. So hectic weekend for me as not getting back from Southend until late.
  6. Rob, Not fishing the open as going up to Southend on the weekend, however, good news is we are coming back on Saturday night. I am on call but can take my laptop with me ). So happy to help out if needed ( and will need to distribute the bait ) Weather looks good this morning.

  8. Ditto here. Congratulations
  9. If anyone is looking for crew then I would be more than happy to crew for the open and if going out of Christchurch then happy to drive the fish over the weigh in. Tempted to take Neo to Poole but only 3 weeks since had my foot done and might be asking a little too much launching / towing / recovering. So if you are after crew - happy to take a space ( and pay my share of fuel / launch costs etc. )

    Computer Scam

Had one the other day. Went t6hrough the waffle and he asked if I could see the webpage I had been asked to navigate to. Told him - "oh do I need an internet connection" Then told them to wait 10 mins while I connected and was then asked if I was on the web page, told them I had clicked on the link but my PC was telling me it was a nasty piece of software, I told them I had installed it. They then asked for the 9 digit number which was displayed, so gave him a made up nu,mber at which point I could hear his PC bleep as he tried to connect to my non existent pc ! He pondered and the tried again asking for the number again. He asked what was my PC doing - so told him it had told me someone was attacking bit and I should call the police ..... He hung up
