The Beaulieu one I presume. I got a leaflet on that the other day and plan to go along for a look.

    Seats

Pete, Thanks, I found they have a web site and I can see what you mean re: Not cheap ! - Think I will go up there and take a look, to see what they have.

    Seats

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of seats like those fitted to Warriors ( ie. The comfy bucket seats ). I want them to replace the ones on my Orkney.

    Rope Superb

As seen on the forum, I ordered some rope from BarryEdwards999 ( on EBay ). I sent and e-mail on the Sat Evening and got an instant reply. He then set up my own "Buy It Now" auction page :- My EBay Rope ! and delivery was prompt. Price was excellent and the rope is superb. Well recommended.

    Trailer Bearings

I tapped mine off using a small hammer. It sounds like they are the same. Once you get them off, don't forget to replace the bearing races as well ( I did ! ).
  8. Pumpkin Marine charged me
  9. We are up for it this year - anyone want to baby sit two teenagers + dogs
  10. I got mine from Pumpkin Marine on Hayling Island -
  11. Weather not looking too good at the moment. I am hoping that the forecast on windguru is wrong.
  12. Martin, I feel so much better now having read your catch report On another note, my friend at work fished for plaice on Sunday off Hayling and then onto Nab Tower. The reward for his efforts ? - 1 dogfish !! Apparently the plaice fishing was awful
  13. Bob, The bung on the Orkney is exactly like that. I never realised the Warrior one was done from the outside. I pull the bung when out to wash the deck down ( self draining ). Perhaps you could get one like the Orkney uses ?
  14. Some pictures from launch of boats at weymouth attached ( unfortunately the colour balance wasnt quite correct ) - I have higher res pics if wanted.
  15. The trip was well enjoyable, catch report for Neo is one small plaice and 10-15 Launce. The slipway and facilities at Weymouth are superb and I too need to learn tactics - catching the plaice on a rig with beads only ( no spoon ). Elaine ( my daughter ) was fishing with a rig made from her necklace beads and I was really hoping that she would catch something on it just for the fun - however, it was not to be, although she had a superb bite which she failed to hook. She then went onto launce feathering. On the way back we also tried drifting the wreck but I didn;t have the right gear onboard having got everthing ready for plaice/turbot fishing.
  16. Surely the plaice in Dartmouth don't come any smaller than the one ( and only one ! ) plaice I caught in Weymouth Seriously though, it was a good place to fish and I am sure will fish better for me on another day, so good idea. ( Will need someone with 4WD to get boat out though ).
  17. As there has been much discussion on the subject of should we keep the big fish or return them to fight another day. Here is a poll on the subject. Vote away. PS: I didn't have this dilema today

    Tyre PSI

Adam, She will fit in the garage no problem. That is how I fill mine with petrol, Drive into garage and then fill her up. Just remember to lower the aerial , but even then you will probably get away with it.

    Tyre PSI

So 45 PSI not too far off then - the tyre states max load @ 50 PSI - cold. At least I can always release some if the ride is too bumpy. I think I am correct in assuming that over inflated is safer than under inflated. All I need now is a spare wheel...., don't we Adam
  20. Me too - Rigs made, tyres pumped up, twin batteries fitted, boat fuelled ( local petrol station actually ran out of unleaded ! ). Club Turbot record under threat ? Bring it on
  21. Tiger Lily has has a plaice report on their website. Tiger Lily Latest

    Tyre PSI

Adam, I have exactly the same quandry. My tyres are marked 5.00 - 10C on the wall and they state max load of 910 KG at 50 PSI. I have put 45 PSI in them to be sure ... Probably too high but better than too low I guess. Anyone know what PSI I should be using - Orkney 520 on a snipe trailer.
  23. Martin, Put me down for one please.
  24. Bob, Does this mean Splash-Out will be Weymouth bound on Saturday ?
  25. Duncan, The record list is on the front page of the site :- Record List Plaice is 5 lb 11 Oz - T Smith. Turbot is 9 lb 6 Oz - P Peck
