You should have done your usual marks !!...... Southbourne was completely flat this morn..... with an off the shore NE breeze.........absolutely no surf or swell.
Tomorrow seems to give the only window for the week !! ....and it's looking better this evening than during the day today !!
I shall be out .... mostly trying for bream...... despite the poor reports.
Anyone else ????
Small tide......out with the ebb; in with the flood......I like that .... I can be very 'Eco-friendly' !!
Alun.
Count me in for the Harbour Lights on the Sun....... and the Moorings for the Sat.
I like the walk up the hill...... and enjoy a steak at the Marais Hall; so that will be my preferred option for the Fri.
It will be easier soon.........when the red and green buoys go in. You'll be surprised how narrow the 'channel' is...... but, as Nick says, it is close to 2m for most of the middle section.....though you go very close to the bank.!!
Tough luck Nige !! Hope the insurance is not too much hassle and you are back up and running soon.
You are welcome to come floundering on mine [sat] ....if you can keep warm ! ??
Alun.
Air pressure has been HIGH. This pushes down on the water and lowers the sea level. ........ about 1 metre for every 100 millibars of pressure.
Recently pressure has been 1030 - 1040 .... so that equals about 30 cms [about a foot] lower than when we have typical mild weather , with pressure around 1000 mbars.
OK OK !!! One too many glass of wine !!
'Prospective' is what I meant............and still holds.
Looks a bit colder.....that might stop the planned target.
Prospect of a few calm days next week.......
With continued mild [ish ] weather, I've got to have a go for a first..........
......... a targetted FEB bass !!!
Let you know how I do !!
I love the propestive nature of our sport !
