Mike, I disagree about.........numbers taking part....and likelihood of winning. I suspect that most of those signed in so far are those hoping to go to Alderney... because that's a fishing trip in their calendar and they'll be doing more fishing than normal ! As Adam has said previously, the chances of catching a winning fish are much more likely over here, with inshore species .....red gurnard and some of the rays are much likely to be 100 % than the flatties, pollack, bass or cod we will be targetting. When the weather forecasts give a fishing weekend, I'm sure plenty more will add their names; sorry you can't make it. Alun.

Another possible explanation............ outside interference ?? !! Is it like mine , with an Up \ Down rocker switch on the side of the engine? Could someone have come alongside and pressed the switch ??

The longer seas and slower speed gave a ride with plenty of rock and roll...... but less banging !! Nevertheless.......Rob seems able to sleep 'on a sixpence' !!

Thanks Adam for another great and memorable trip.........super baot; top skipper. Thanks Rob for constant fuelling of the banter..... Can't think of the last time I've laughed so much over 4 days !! All parts of the trip were at extremes !! This turbo [ above] was a tiddler from near the start.......... before we realised we'd get so many !! I'm sure a pic of Rob's good one will come along shortly ! Best bits...... company and fishing on JV best day on the Banks I've had, hectic and noisy action in the Nannels!! banter on the Radio ......Craig could be a new superstar !! socials in Alderney, with the place almost to ourselves tackle and talk with Mark and Fie at Ald. Ang. lovely sunshine every day.........shame about the wind !! 4 days whizzed by .......and the long and bumpy trip back won't stop me looking forward eagerly to the next trip
