We had a lovely day out yesterday, mackerel hard to find but had other bait anyway! Went on a bank, first drop, starry smooth hound up to 8lb 5oz and then a dozen more. Lots of LSDs, bream on 5/0 hooks. The icing on the cake, Jacob shouts "grandad I got the bottom, but its moving!" And after a good fight and a bit of help from me, a beautiful undulate ray 11lb 2oz on board! Great day out lots of fish and lots of sunshine! :)
