Billy this is a club comp for members only. There will be a small hamper up for grabs. Only problem for you is this is the only club comp (I think? Charlie will verify details) where we have a weigh in and thats at baiter slip. You may need to find a boat to crew for Martin

Kam The flounder/xmas bash is an in house club comp open to members only. You do not need to sign in The rules for this comp are the same as our other comps except that we have a weigh in at baiter. A very informal affair with a small hamper as an incentive. Hope you can make it Martin

Hi Steve Thanks for your report, its good for us to keep in touch with whats happening in the extremities of our area. I'm sure when everyone recovers from the early start in sunday's club comp that there will be a flood of reports on how we all did Martin

Up at 5:15am sorted the last bits for the boat and loaded the grub and tea making equipment into the van then trundled on down to Baiter for 6:25 Some early birds already there waiting to launch (are all boat anglers mad) Bob H and I Set up the stall. Veronica and Helen got the bacon rolls and tea on the go (early reports suggest that this was the most welcome bit of the day). I then frantically phoned around making sure no one had forgotten their promise of help then before you could wink a shed load of willing helpers appeared (thank goodness for that). In fact we had so many helpers I could take it a little easy this year, which was nice. It gave me a chance to get a little feedback from competitors. Same in the afternoon really in fact I did very little at the weigh in, just watched the smiling faces of fairly happy anglers returning with their hard won catch and chatted again to anglers who had nothing but good comments for the way the comp is run, very satisfying! We then went to the Mariner Club for the presentation. The busy bees were once again doing their jobs. Counting monies and sorting out who won what, nice to watch. I then presented the prizes to those smiling faces that were very appreciative of the excellent prize table. Prizes were largely donated bye local businesses who were willing to put a little back. A big thank you to them, and may I suggest that when your making future puchases you support them, they really do deserve our support. The best bit for me though was presenting the junior prizes, they are angling

Hi Charlie Firstly welcome to Poole Bay Small Boat A/C enjoy the forum. From your post I assume you mean NFSA. You may have seen from our posts that an EGM has been called by 6 of the Poole affilliated clubs. We are going to try and change things for the better. Our proposals would put the power back with the members and affilliated clubs, this would be a step in the right direction, making all officers of OUR federation acountable to the membership. Will it work or make a difference? we can only try. I dont think Mr. Diffey belongs to our club, he certainly isn't our hon sec. I believe he belongs to Poole Dolphins another of our local club's but I may be wrong on that one. I hope you have a good day afloat on True Blue, please give my regards to Malcomn Collins the skipper. As I said earlier enjoy the forum, all are welcome (well almost all) we are a freindly buch that enjoy our fishing and like a laugh Cheers Martin Chairman PBSBAC

No clogging it through Holes bay please, this is designated a quite area and the max speed is six knots or face the wrath of phc and a possible hefty fine! We dont want the clubs name slurred, well not until the presentation after a sherbert or three If it makes it easier the anchor etc can be dumped at mine on sat and I will deliver to baiter at 6.30am. If you want this to happen phone me the number is on your list. Signing in is from 7.30 for all sorry lads. No fishing before 8.30am Duncan why not have a man with waders on at baiter to wade out to the boat? might save some time and breath Trailer boats will have a problem when returning to the slip for the weigh in with low water on the slip being around 1700
