  13. Thanks Charlie any night for me
  14. I would like a look at that rig at the meeting please,
  15. As they said above, take care and a speedy recovery mate.
  16. A boat of around 25' (8metres) will use £300-£400 in fuel plus mooring say £60 plus digs plus eats and drinks. The fuel and mooring is usually shared between crew members so actual cost will depend on how many crew on each boat. You thinking of coming along?
  17. Cowboy in Heaven A cowboy appeared before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. 'Have you ever done anything of particular merit?' St. Peter asked. 'Well, I can think of one thing,' the cowboy offered. 'On a trip to the Black Hills out in South Dakota , I came upon a gang of bikers who were threatening a young blonde woman. I directed them to leave her alone, but they wouldn't listen. So, I approached the largest and most tattooed biker and smacked him in the face, kicked his bike over, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground. I yelled, 'Now, back off or I'll kick the crap out of all of you!' St. Peter was impressed, 'When did this happen?' 'Couple of minutes ago.'
  18. That's in the other tank
  19. Depends on how much fishing/drifting we do on the way over however probably in the region of 100 litres. As you know refuelling times depends on tides for the inner harbour access, if we can fuel up on arrival no need then to refuel until it's time to come home leaving the only things to bring a day to an early halt is either weather or Dean running out of beers For those that haven't been I allow for 3-400 litres of fuel for the 4 days on a 25' boat
  20. Paul I go over with full fuel tank(350l) then fuel up over their if possible on arrival then as Rob says refuel before the trip home. The fuel is cheaper but it's not in my opinion worth worrying about any savings that could be made versus safety. I have never bought any of the duty free booze etc so can't comment re savings to be had.
  21. Many happy returns Kam hope it's been a good day
  22. Happy birthday Jason Martin
  23. I had this type of scupper on my previous boat, they kind of worked but if 2 of us fished at the stern they did allow water in, so much so that I ended up sealing them up. Would have worked better if the floor in the boat was a bit higher above the waterline. So work out if your floor when loaded is well above the waterline if it is then they will work just fine
  24. Finally made your mind up then Dave. Good luck with the sale
  25. Now cleared out, waz up
