Seems that Recreational Sea Anglers amongst others could be part of the problem and that the Commercials are the Good Guys or am I reading it wrong? Allan.

Favour individual rather than boat myself. Looks as if I will be struggling for crew versitile enough and may not be able to fish as the people I had in mind are not available. Any offers? Allan.

Thanks for the clarification Neal. The reason behind the question was that 3 Club Members who come out at different times and are familiar with the area and what is likely to be caught are unavailable (one wife's birthday, one own birthday and one hoping to sell his boat to someone coming up from London on Sunday). As the number of species to count appears to be per boat rather than per individual would fish caught on my boat by a none club member count? Allan.

Tried several times to get you on the radio, could hear you talking to Brian,could perhaps have helped with anchor as only a few minutes away. Allan.

Not sure if you are going on a berth at Cobbs. If it is F pontoon bank side mid to late afternoon should be fine. Around 8pm you will find very liitle water. Not sure what your air draft is, but if there are arches etc. you could do well to check the Bridge Opening times or avoid the high water around midday. If your on the stack or a trailor no probs. If you have to cancel because of the weather and can only make weekends, then the following weekend is when the Olympic Torch comes to Poole. Suspect it could be going over the New Bridge on Friday or Sat. but not absolutely certain as we spotted some "Expect Delays" signs when coming back over the Bridge. Didn't pay too much attention as given the current forcast and the fact that we are probably moving my son next weekend meant that it probably wouldn't bother me. Otherwise, may well see you at Cobbs. Allan.

Looking at the weather and with what was said at the Thursday Meeting I have advised my crew that is unlikely to take place as he was travelling down from Bedford. Unfortunately, I will not be out this weekend. Allan.

Ditto plus a few other items as well that I would not find locally. Website certainly worth a look at if you make your own rigs. Lots of the items are available elsewhere but its one of the few places where they are available together. Allan.

Well done on your species. We went round to the Dancing ledge area with Yann and Frank where we managed one bream all day. Numerous pouting (20plus) and around 25 dogs and one small conger. Tried the ebb and the flood and several different spots. Spoke to a Poole Charter off the ledge who was there for several hours before us. They had managed two dogs. Dave Lynes was also round there for at least several hours and said they had no bream.. Joined mid morning till mid afternoon by Rossi G with Graham and crew again we believe they had some dogs but no bream. Tried several spots on the run back but only pout and dogs Where are the bream? For anyone fishing the Dancing Ledge Area I have put a warning in another section. Allan.

Well done Nigel. She looked great as she shot past. Frank commented on how clean the bottom of the hull looked as you did a 180 degree turn at close to warp speed! A superb new toy and first time out the species count looks impressive at this rate you will soon be back up there.
