  11. Neal, not that it makes a great deal of difference, but our results were- Dave -Undulate 12ozs. Allan- Small Eyed 6lb 2ozs and Blonde 2lbs. Thanks. Allan.
  12. After a fairly late start, we left Cobbs to try for a flounder on one of my "banker" marks. The water level in the top of the harbour was well above what I expected, too much fresh water and a neap tide resulted in a blank. After an hour we headed almost south out of the Harbour to find Alfresco right where we had wanted to fish. After about 5 minutes of checking the bottom we anchored a few hundred yards away on a promising bank. We were soon into a wide variety of fish including some good size mackerel, the largest to Dave at 1lb 2oz, a good number of red gurnard around a pound to both of us and on tub to Dave. The inevitable dog fish were also caught in numbers with the largest just over 2lbs. As far as Rays were concerned Dave had a mini undulate of 12oz and I had a nice small eyed of 6lb. 2oz and what we suspect was a small blonde of 2lb but I am open to suggestions as to what it was (large number of spots, spot colour), Dave may put up a few more pictures. Allan

  21. Favour individual rather than boat myself. Looks as if I will be struggling for crew versitile enough and may not be able to fish as the people I had in mind are not available. Any offers? Allan.
  22. Thanks for the clarification Neal. The reason behind the question was that 3 Club Members who come out at different times and are familiar with the area and what is likely to be caught are unavailable (one wife's birthday, one own birthday and one hoping to sell his boat to someone coming up from London on Sunday). Allan.
  23. As the number of species to count appears to be per boat rather than per individual would fish caught on my boat by a none club member count? Allan.
  24. Tried several times to get you on the radio, could hear you talking to Brian, could perhaps have helped with anchor as only a few minutes away. Allan.
  25. Sorry to see here go John. Knew you had sold it a few days ago but a surprise to see the empty birth yesterday. Hope you get lots of enjoyment out of her replacement. You know you will always be welcome on KOM if you fancy slumming it. We do do later starts sometimes now we are getting older. Allan.
