  1. My latest kit came via Matt from MES (friend of the club) - MES are now part of Cactusnav.com Great service and price!!
  2. A friend of mine took delivery of a new craft today at Cobbs. I was on hand to help get it back to Sandbanks Yacht Company Marina/Dryberth today. There were a few white horses on the harbour as we drove past this morning, but by the time we had filled her to the brim & had the hand over it was much more pleasant. We had to give it the blast round shell bay to test the performance (though staying below 4500 due to running in). Nudging 40knts Old Harry isn't as far as you think! And that's not pushing it! We did some great tight turns and had it slipping a bit, what a piece of kit. Colbalt 223 with a 5.7l V8 350Mag, no rod holders but he does want to go mackerelling in the summer, assuming we don't scare them off on arrival! Just nice to be out and the weather held ok. Lunch and a well earned beer at the Clubhouse / bar, result!
  3. Depending on your unit could you add LowranceStructureScan?
  4. I think there is a lack of output for dsc, but could be wrong. Maybe add it and have 2if you have got room. Mal and Graham S had them I think.

  6. It used to be "prop revs" in Cobbs, are they the same Brian?
  7. JV will need a shoe rack and sink on deck! No grubby mitts or shoe in the cabin!
  8. My natural location: Post heavy lunch of fish and chips & beer: Ad with the router: Enjoying the new look: Now wacked after 10 hrs of hard labour!
  9. Nice, save some for me to do!!!
  10. I would say no good. Prices are no cheaper (prob more) than online / local chandlers (take a force four catalogue with you) and you don't get a receipt so no chance of returning anything! Ok, if you are looking for used kit and / junk! (Best and only good find was a matching crew seat for Charlie's Shetland). Oh, and a wheel for my mates tip run trailer!
  11. ^ win win!!!
  12. Mr Fox Snr can help you with tackle and bait advise! Though, he failed to land it!
  13. I saw from the Southern SIFCA news feed that they have been doing a survey in Poole Harbour for Peacock Worms. (This is a joint project with DWT and Natural England) Amazing to see this at the back Brownsea!
  14. Grey top, dark striped wood veneer, silver teak floor, then match the carpet side covering later once rest in place. [emoji3]
  15. Indeed! Too many missed chances last year. Closest we got was the jersey butter on our fry up on the shore at Portland harbour!
  16. Thanks for the training course, how much do I owe you?
