  1. I would say no good. Prices are no cheaper (prob more) than online / local chandlers (take a force four catalogue with you) and you don't get a receipt so no chance of returning anything! Ok, if you are looking for used kit and / junk! (Best and only good find was a matching crew seat for Charlie's Shetland). Oh, and a wheel for my mates tip run trailer!
  2. ^ win win!!!
  3. Mr Fox Snr can help you with tackle and bait advise! Though, he failed to land it!
  4. I saw from the Southern SIFCA news feed that they have been doing a survey in Poole Harbour for Peacock Worms. (This is a joint project with DWT and Natural England) Amazing to see this at the back Brownsea!
  5. Grey top, dark striped wood veneer, silver teak floor, then match the carpet side covering later once rest in place. [emoji3]
  6. Indeed! Too many missed chances last year. Closest we got was the jersey butter on our fry up on the shore at Portland harbour!
  7. Thanks for the training course, how much do I owe you?

Bournemouth Fishing Lodge - 20lb Berkley Trilene (gold spool) or 30lb Trilene BigGame (big donut type, black and white spool). I expect Neil stocks them at Wessex too.
  13. Bring a paper chart to a club meeting, and you'll be amazing what information can be obtained! Welcome btw!

    Hi Chris! Welcome.
  17. I would raise my middle finger to you, but it hurts too much. Yes my like fishing apprentice did well. Hell of a PB for a river, let alone an unmanaged free stretch! (My PB from 1/2 mile away is only 17lb )
  18. Good old NHS! Dr appointment 10:30, popped home to get a brew to take with me. Down to Hospital for X-ray. X-ray taken (6 or so), looked at during my time on the machine. Second opinion sort. Then off to A&E, waited, seen triage quickly, waited, splint & sling. Home 13:30! Ruddy good service if you ask me!
  19. I have a sling of sympathy, which seems to be working!
  20. Ruddy thing twisted and being slimy my fingers in the gill opening, ended up with a spiral break to my middle finger! Currently waiting for bandaging after X-ray! Extreme sport this fishing lark!
  21. She did Ian, but we were Ninja Fishing in the trees. So couldn't give any line and only had a 10x15 ft opening of water to play her. Surrounded by tree trunks, roots, branches. With the cloured water, I was able to sneak the net under without it being seen!!!
  22. Good Ghillie I say!!!!! [emoji56]
  23. It was the Stour, but not (quite) Throop!

  25. Plus it snapped away from the rod as I still had some line to reel in. But I will check, thanks to the idea!
