    ICOM GPS lead

Hi all I was looking why my Icom VHF radio did not respond to DSC and found it has not been wired in! Ok I thought no problem there, except when I found the manual it said I need a lead with a jack plug on it! I know it should have come with the radio but I bought the boat with the radio so no lead available. Where is the best place around Poole to get one of the leads, does anyone know who stocks Icom spares? Thanks in advance Coddy

    Wipers

Need to be very careful with rain X, tried it once on my Warrior and it made them cloudy. I think it is only good on glass and not plastic! Best stuff I used was G3 to clean and clear the plastic with a good polish to make them clear, water just ran off them. Biggest problem is the salt, Coddy

    bream comp

Bill and I where also out on Dancing Ledge after a bit of a late start as I need fuel. Found a spot just behind Silver Speay charter boat and down went the pick. Almost instantly we were into Bream. Did not keep a count but weighed all fish. Bill had the biggest at 2.5lb and I managed one at 2lb, most were around the 1.5 - 1.75lb mark. As the tide slackened we headed off to Poole patch to find it almost empty of boats, soon found why no fish, loads of bites but could not connect so suspect very small pin bream. Weather was nice around the West side but dull and a bit of a chill in the wind on the patch. Good to be out however. Regards Coddy
  13. Paul Got an old 5hp seagull on the back of Lady C I know it wont go fast but will push the boat along through most tides albeit slowly. As long as I am out of danger this set up suits me fine. Should a problem or danger occur down would go the anchor or two if needed. Coddy
  14. A friend of mine has a number of bits for sale if anyone is interested. Owners/workshop manual for OMC (Johnson/Evinrude) outboards 40hp to 55hp included an additional supplement for power trim and tilt systems. Old Evinrude trim and tilt motor (for spares) and some wiring
  15. Sorry Paul Didn't see the second link but at least it should be clearer to club members on my link. I will still bring some copies to the meeting for those without pc's Dave

  17. Hi all At the last PDSA meeting I was given a newsletter about Angling Unity and the Features/Benefits with an update on NFSA/Unity. I will try to get a number of copies photocopied and bring to the next club meeting for those interested. I will also try to scan these pages and see if I can make it an attachment so you all can download and print off a copy. Dave LIAISON OFICER ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have managed to add the download to one of my web pages here is the link http://www.fishing-boats.info/AnglingUnity.htm You will see a new web page which asks you to click on a link which will open a pdf file. You will need ADOBE reader to open the file. This can be downloaded free from many sites. Dave

  24. Hi Paul I saw an Orkney steaming in and said to Bill, if I had enough money I would have liked a boat similar to yours. The Bream where we were was very patchy and in fact when we were swinging about we came in and out of their holding area. A couple of the charter boys moved a couple of times to keep in the fish. Glad we missed the race around Perveral Sorry to hear about the anchor, if you need a 5kg bruce-a-like give me a shout. Coddy
  25. So what's the replacement then Simon? I am sure someone will buy her quickly with all that gear! Coddy
