  1. She's a nice boat Tomo - I saw her when looking for moorings a few weeks ago down that way. Hopefully see you out on the water this summer.
  2. TOMO, Is that your Pirate moored up by the tea gardens??
  3. MMmmmmmm rods!!!
  4. Dropped Out of the Blue into PMS today to get a full service on the Honda before I launch her for the maiden voyage... Good service overall - friendly chaps, dropped it off at 10am, was ready by 2pm. They gave me 10% off parts and gave me
  5. Looks like a damn fine club boat to me!! Coming on well Fred, I cant believe how quickly the build has come together, presumably you have been working on her full time?
  6. Ermmm>.. Just confused now! What is MAM?

    White Gelcoat

Does anyone have a small quantity of white gel that I could have? I need to fill a few small scratches and holes on the new boat. Ta
  11. Coddy, 18/25mm Ply is adequate, it needs to be about the same size as the 'foot' that mates with the transom. Its not essential and I dont think Warrior use them, but BW had one fitted and I thought it a good idea. The one I have taken off the new boat was bolted using self tapping carrage bolts... Lastly, bolt heads on the outside, nuts on the inside.
  12. Owners I have spoken to tell me that it's a rare day when you can open the throttle - however I have been told that 38-40 knots is attainable when lightly loaded - I'm expetcting about 32-32 will all th kit onboard. Re. the prop, I think the best idea is to wait until the Alloy prop comes back and run the boat up on that to see what it pulls. Its just a shame that the only 16" prop is from Honda at silly money.

    New Era Ii!!

  14. Ive talked to prop revs, they dont carry a 16, only 15's - hence my question and yes coddy the one they offer has a universal hub. The reason for wanting a S/S is to have a more durabel prop for Xchurch, plus Ill have the alloy spare for when it's really shallow. Back to the question - am I going to get too many revs with a 15" pitch?

    Huge Chub

Well done Dan - superb fish! My best is 7lb from Wedgehill (you'll know this venue) best from a river is a tad over 5. If you send me the photo Ill put it up.
  16. I think I'll probably answer my own question here, but anyway... I have a 13.25" x 17 Alloy prop on the Honda at present. I want to upgrade to a S/S and Warrior tell me that the Alloy prop revs to about 5600/5800. The engine is rated to 6000 WOT. Warrior recommend an upgrade to the 16" pitch S/S prop, but these are like like rocking horse poo and only available from Honda at over

    New Era Ii!!

Not too sure yet Paul. The engine is going into Poole Marine Services on Weds for a once over and the prop is over at Prop Revs having a missing chunk replaired, so not this w/e. However if I can find a S/S prop this week I'll take her out. Why, do you fancy joining me?
  20. They have, but not for the older models, only for the 2007, 4000 series units. I have ordered the 320c FF, but they have upgraded me FOC to the 340c - I would actually prefer the older model! I may look into getting the charts from the US - is the G2 better than the old ones? Find it a little strange that the US sells UK charts though!
  21. Dom, 29th April is the trail-away to Burnham, we have offered them either the first specimen hunt or the May bream comp and are waiting to hear back to see what suits best. I'll be posting more details in due course. Adam
  22. What are you replacing it with then?

Phil - B&O's is where I found her, along with the other one which fell through. IMO its the best place to find a boat. www.findafishingboat.co.uk can also be good. If you are looking for a 175, their is a 2004 boat on their at the moment with a 90 Honda for
  24. I ended up with the 2010c - at a price that not even the US could beat - a little bit of an error on the dealers part, but fair play to him - he honoured the deal. Should be here in a few days so will let you know what I think!

Cruising Endurance - I guess, is how far / long you can cruise on an average sea with a full tank of fuel. As a rough example on BW it would have been 20 knots cruising speed, using approx 1l per mile of fuel. Therefore my fuel capacity was 50l, which equates to 50 miles (using 1 knot = 1 mile which of course needs altering slightly). This would have taken 2 hours 30 mins which would be my cruising endurance in time. Hope this helps?
