To add pictures of your boat to the members' boat section, you have to contact the mods. To put a pic on your thread, there are 2 ways, first you can either attach it, using the File Attachment at the bottom, just above where you click to Add Reply. The other way is to use the IMG tab above (when you are replying), but the .jpg must be on the net somewhere.

However, may not be CE approved, ie, imported. Then again, as long as you have you licence and the main unit on display, no one is going to do a detail search of your boat for illegal h/h.

Not sure about the harbours, but the 'open' slips don't charge. The majority of slip from Hythe to Gosport don't charge, but some charge for car parking (as well as trailers) in high season.

Well, your cousins over this side of the county boundary (well Porstmouth council anyway) has got it right. No charge to launch and no charge to park in Winter months. Warsash, Elmore, Stoke bay, .... just to name a few.

I think I'll stick to drifting.........

I'm pretty novice regarding anchoring ( pretty novice everything really ). When we locate a wreck, how do we know which way is up tide? Is it experience, knowing which direction the tide goes or do we chuck a bit of bread into the water and see which way it goes ?

What stage of the tide did you catch the cod, if you don't mind me asking? And where about IOW were you?

I'd seen a 'gadget' on telly the other week, it enables a woman to 'p' standing up, can't recall what it's call tho.

The first crane drive was on the back at the time, he jumped clear. Just think all this happened because some tweep reversed into the harbour?!

You chickens, Mike and I are planning to head off shore and try some of the deeper wrecks for cod and pollocks.

If anyone know where Wah Hing (chinese grosory stores) are in Boscombe and Poole, they do a ginger candy, quite gingery I believe. That might help.

To the west (Portland) force 6 by lunch, to the east (St cath) force 5 ssw. Poole harbour anyone?

Loyal royal is a Arvor/quicksilver right? Will you have problem getting it under the bridge after 7:30? I guess my boat is about the same height and doubt if I have enough headroom at hw to clear the bridge.

In that case, I will get out first and dunk Mike into the water, that should do the trick

Don't matter what you eat, there's always carrots........ I found out the best cure is a fish I was throwing up on tuesday as the swell was getting larger, until I hooked into that conger and I was fine after that.

I have Duncan 5 Coddy 10 lb ish Billy 6 Paul 5(?) 10(?) Adam 10 Bob 10 lb (ish) More or less gone, sorry. Oh, how do you guys want yours? They are individually wrapped at the mo and all frozen. It will probably take an hour to defrost [large] one in sea water (small one won't matter, defrost quick enough). I can take it out the night before and let them 'soften' slightly if you want.
