  1. Go to any garage and get an old brake disc, weigh around 10-15 lbs.

    Digital Cameras

Fuji has good pictures and the finepix programme is a doddle to use. Any mag suggesting they need 6m is talking boll*cks, any 3m image print on 6x4 photo paper is crisp and detail (provided good camera and good printer to start with), and I doubt very much any publication print them out bigger than 6x4.

I have a coleman, it's ok but not a patch on the American one. A friend of mine bought one back from the state, and it keeps ice for days when the coleman was long thawed out.

Depends what you want it for. If it's gonna be used on boat I'll get a cheap (still has 3m pixel) and nasty one, for about
  5. Go to Halfords anf get those boy racer tint sheet for windows.
  6. In reference to the bream bit, it's in theory vs in practice. When I do my breaming, I don't use any mono other than the several ft on the rig itself. Yes I do loss fish, but the number I caught are far greater. I just don't worry about it, maybe if it's bass than I would but bream, there are thousands of the thing down below, if I miss I will soon get abother one. I can't comment on the rest as I still haven't got this month's yet.
  7. What else can we do when fishing is so slow?
  8. Macdonald opens 7:00 but you won't be able to trail your boat thru the drivethru section.....
  9. Did Burnham cancel their comp? If not, anyone how did they get on?
  10. Bloody hell Rich, I get confused by your directions and I go to Weymouth alot.... My advice is down the hill passing the elbow bend, next roundabout turn right, next roundabout bear left, now you should see the river on your left, next roundabout turn left over the river, with Macdonald and KFC on your left, take right at this roundabout, over some tram/rail lines on the road, the tram line will take you all the way to the slipway which is on your right. If if helps, an Iceland van always park in the car park on a Sunday morning.

    Moorings Again

I was doing my level 2 last summer and the guy popped into Port Hamble for some gas, on the railing it advertiserd they had a few spaces available, it said "From

  13. Adam, just choose a fishy looking exotic place for your honeymoon, the lads can come along for the fishing trip, 2 birds with one stone or what?!

Can you not modify your radar arch to be folded down backward? All the Wetmouth chartered boat can collapsed their arch. This will cost no more than

    Hi

I was gonna say, 2 fat blokes on a boat, that could be anyone from the club.... Welcome and have fun.
  16. Duncan, why else do you think I'm selling my boat?
  17. My guess is that the calculation has already taken into account the effect of weigh in water. So the calculation would be pretty accurate, otherwise many angry boaters would have already brought their buoy back saying it's no good for lifting my X kg anchor. Why would the yellow/orange/red buoy has any different buoyancey? Even if the plastic are different, surely it would be insignificant to alter the bouyancy too much? Another thing is that you can always pump up the buoy for extra buoyancy.
  18. Just saw the title and realised you are talking about winter. The downside fishing in winter is that the hours of daylight is very short. Much better to go just before or just after the summer holiday. My friends went last Sep, caught halibut which was taller than him (well he's a short arse 5'3"), cod over 60, wolf fish, torsk, etc. They ate nothing but fish they caught the whole week. Nightlife was non-esixtence, couldn't afford to get p*ssed with their beer prices.
  19. I looked at a brochure for Norway last year, prices started at around
  20. I know the one, it's the same as mine. I chose a large one so that I can wedge it into the bow rail. The only downside is children lauge at my boat when towing, it looks like a giant red nose.
  21. Been telling you your jokes just ain't funny...... You meant that's not a joke?!
  22. Mother day, don't think the missus will forgive me if I miss that.
  23. Any chandler wil have a chart for this. Just tell them what size anchor and how much chain. The buoy cost between
  24. What is that metal gate doing in the middle of the water?
  25. Fished with Dave a couple of time, nice bloke, not like so old gits I can think of down at Weymouth (no I don't mean you Tom..... ). Very willing to help, the boat is a little slow tho.
