  1. I know, but I've never had to pay VAT in the past, but if I do it's only
  2. The site Coddy linked to, looks very similar to the one I linked to (exploded drawings, even the prices are almost the same). As an example of Boat.net's prices. I've just ordered a Suzuki Voltmeter to match my existing gauges, I was quoted
  3. Might be worth trying http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Suzuki/Outboard/parts.html, they're in the States but I've used them in the past and they've been very reasonable.

    Cows

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Bourne almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the county of Lincolnshire? And, they even tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 25,000 illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

    Nurses are Human

Nurses aren't supposed to laugh ....... "Of course I won't laugh," said the nurse. "I'm a professional. In over twenty years I've never laughed at a patient." "Okay then," said Fred, and he proceeded to drop his trousers, revealing the tiniest 'man thingy' the nurse had ever seen. Length and width, it couldn't have been bigger than a AAA battery. Unable to control herself, the nurse started giggling, then fell to the floor laughing. Ten minutes later she was able to struggle to her feet and regain her composure. "I am so sorry," she said. "I don't know what came over me. On my honor as a nurse and a lady, I promise it won't happen again. Now, tell me, what seems to be the problem?" "It's swollen," Fred replied. She ran out of the room.
  6. Charlie, I think you're right, but I can't find it stated anywhere.
  7. After the meeting last Thursday, the Bass Nursery Area in Poole Harbour came up whilst discussing fishing marks. Some didn't realise that appart from not fishing for bass between 30 April and 1 November, the use of sand-eels as bait is also prohibited during that period. I thought it might be worth posting the regulation here: Southern Sea Fisheries District Committee Information for Fishermen Fisheries Regulations for Bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) within Poole Harbour Bass Nursery Area Under The Bass (Specified Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation) Order 1999. Fishing for bass, or fishing for any fish using sand-eels as bait, by any fishing boat within any part of the harbour, as defined, is prohibited between 30 April and 1 November. Definition of Area: All tidal waters enclosed by a line drawn 011 degrees true from Jerry

The England players visited the local children's hospital today in South Africa. "It's good to put a smile on the face's of people constantly struggling and facing the impossible", said Jamal Unboato, aged six.

  14. I've been searching, without success, to see how the air draught of the new bridge will compare with the existing one. I assume it will be at least the same. Does anyone know the answer?

    Size matters

A Professor has found after extensive research that there are two sizes of penis amongst UK men. There are those which fall within the normal size range and those which are less than two inches when erect. The Professor has appealed for help to continue his research, could all men in the UK with extremly small penises make themselves known over the next six weeks by flying a white flag with a red cross from their cars?

    Whale Tail

Jim I've got Smart Tabs on my Warrior. I haven't played around with the settings, they're as they left Warriors, I'm on the plane at a little over 11 knts. I used to have Doel fins on a previous boat, but I didn't like them as I feel they put extra strain on the motor. It's a bit like lifting the back of the boat with the Anti-Cavitation Plate.
  20. Anyone going out tomorrow (Monday)? I'll be launching at Cobbs at about 10:30. If you're out give me a call on Channel 6.
  21. Welcome to the Forum Barry. Answer to your question, Channel 6. What's the name of your boat?
  22. I'm hoping to get out to tbe Patch tomorrow pm.
  23. I have to admit, MegaByte has been an ornament since the beginning of November (but a well washed and polished one!!!). That won't change on Sunday, as I can't fish the Bream comp. got to go to Cornwall for the weekend to a Christening. Hopefully MegaByte will cease to be an ornament next week, weather permitting I plan on getting out Tuesday and Wednesday (now I've said that the weather will deteriorate rapidly).
  24. Mike Welcome to the Warrior 165 fleet. What engine have you got? Have you tried Trents for the wheel? There's a trailer place on the Chalwin Industrial estate that might have a suitable wheel if you end up having to buy new.
