I've got twin batteries on mine, 1 for the lights and electronics the other for the engine. Instead of using an "Off-1-Both-2", I fitted a VSR, makes it automatic. Purchased the switch from Merlin Equipment at Cabot Lane (just down the road from you). As the boat lives on a trailer at home, I decided not to fit isolating switches.

I didn't have them fitted to my Warrior as I felt they were a waste of money. I couldn't see any reason to ever go onto the foredeck.

Gary I've only ever had to wait for one boat. But I usually go out weekdays, launching at 09:30 and back in about 15:30.

I seem to remember reading somewhere (possibly on this forum), that I you phone the council they'll come and clear the sand.

Hi Ben Nice boat, quite a few members launch at Baiter, I tried it and didn't like having to wade everytime, so I now launch at Cobbs Quay, although it's quite expensive.

We're in a bit of a quiet spell at the moment, but things should start to pick up shortly. Where will you be launching?

Hi Ben Welcome to the Forum. A good bunch, losts of knowledge and really helpful. I would suggest that you try to get out with a few members on their boats, it's the best way to learn. What sort of boat have you got? Can I also recommend joining the club, the AGM is on 1st April. Just one comment, try not to use all Uppercase, it's not so easy to read, and can be taken as shouting.

Mark It's strange that it's not showing the correct date and time. According to the manual, date and time are obtained automatically from the Satelites atomic clock.
