Hi Adam There are many clever options Two points to remember 1 Martin is right that a through transom pick up would not work underway as it would be dry at speed, pump would burn out and/or bait dies 2. any skin fitting underwater should be metal and be fitted with a shut off valve in case a pipe goes Have you any acces to the inside of the main hull, if so that may be where to fit the skinfitting. Hi While I would not like to disagree with Rich who certainly knows his rigs and catches a lot of various species on them. You may wish to remember that Club comps are fished with a maximum of 2 hooks on one or two rods. If you are preparing traces then a selection of one or two hook rigs would be usefull. IMHO keeping it simple works fine Charlie

As you say Alun It was announced at the last meeting that the January Fish of the Month trophy and first Poole Angling Centre rod was won by: Duncan Mackie for a 46lb conger eel 115% specimen Nice fish mate well done. Incidentaly there was a bigger specimen % flounder caught but it was not recorded in time, {By the end of the next meeting] so will not be eligable. A lesson to be learnt there I think. Please keep me up to date of your catches. Charlie
