  4. Sat at work this morning looking at the calmest harbour for about two months, I am very tempted to take a half day tomorrow. Is anyone going out and looking for crew? or fancy joining me on Alfresco? Text me 07887 794716 Charlie
  5. Well done all of the winners through the year It looks like you needed a good fish to even get in the top three, only March had any fish under 100% as second and third. Sounds like there are still some good fish in our area, if only the weather would let us get out a bit more.
  6. Happy birthday Kev Have a good one mate
  7. Happy 21st Birthday George Hope that you have a great day It took me two days before I could return to work after mine. Charlie
  8. Thanks Terry I second that and hope that you are all enjoying the festive season. Charlie
  9. slim chance of me fishing on Mrs C's Birthday. LOL
  10. Good results with both comps having 20+ anglers weighing in only their best single fish. Interesting to see the difference in sizes across the harbour and the difference between Holes Bay and the rest of us, makes me feel happier about my 1lb 13oz fish by Brownsea Sure would be an easy paddle for you Steve, Cobbs to "the Mark"
  11. Glad that the chap got picked up and is OK But this is why I am a fan of compulsory training prior to being allowed to take a boat out, like they do on the continent. The boat looks to be well fitted out, but as Steve says "All the gear and no idea" This is why our Club is so keen to maintain the ethos of training and safety, using experienced Members to offer advice and lead on to more formal training.
  12. Great pictures Lofty and a really good read I wish I had bothered to keep a more accurate log and taken lots of pictures, as I used to when the boat was first launched. I may need to look in the on board log and at the tablet pictures.
  13. Kev winning fish 3 lb 8.5oz Jacob best by junior 2 lb 9 oz Brilliant effort by the Bath boys again
  14. Well done to all that fished I think I heard Neal say that 20 anglers weighed in flounders with several catching many more than the one they weighed in Kev winning fish 3 lb 8.5oz Jacob best by junior 2 lb 9 oz Brilliant effort by the Bath boys again
  15. That is very true Alun
  16. We may also have Will on board , but that is a little doubtful
  17. Arseholes don't fish Jim They play golf
  18. 8. Alfresco Charlie Sam, Jayden (junior)
  19. Thanks Neal What time will the weigh in be for the flounder comp? I presume that it will be at Cobbs Quay as usual
  20. great white

Powerboat level 2 do not run out, they are lifetime qualification But continued training with intermediate or advanced courses is recomended

  23. Tight lines guys. After recent family events, I decided to take an early decision to help Dan and Chrissy lay their laminate flooring this weekend. Its going very well and we are half way through the job. Dan and I will not doubt be very keen to see the results tomorrow, hope the cod are hungry for you all and the forecast is right.
