  1. I will take that off your hands Steve Having just spent several evenings repairing leaks in an old one, I can now toss it in the bin Speak again soon
  2. Thanks Ian that sort of puts our fishing in perspective, wish we could get the men in grey suits as often as they do in NZ but if we had them eating our table fish I expect we would soon be cursing them. You have some better fish to target than sharks, but here the sharks are the apex preditor

  12. What do the other skippers think Shall we fish what we used to call Commodores rules, ie pick an area on the day subject to the weather and fish within a set distance of each other. Or just fish where you want and keep in touch on the VHF It may also be good to get the boats close together at some stage for photos and so the kids can see each other Charlie

  19. Nice one Sam I make that 11 juniors, so room for a few more Lets hope that the weather gods are kind, for the fishing and the barbeque. My thanks as well to all that have given prizes, volunteered boats etc And the Club for getting behind this. I am sure we can make this fun for the kids I taught my boys to fish when they were young and had great fun doing so When they grew bigger they talked mum into getting a bigger boat, RESULT.
  20. Silly her for believing that Jim Tell her its to make it safer for the grandchildren
  21. Great Adam Looks like a good start to the improvements I like to build up a good few layers of wetted GRP, Then roll it with a hard and ridged roller to get all of the air out, before it starts to set To see that there are no air pockets, it is easier if you do not add any pigment to the resin. I know that you are aware Adam, but others may not be.
  22. Instead of leaving the fishing kit alone and doing jobs at home
