Sorry guys - been away up north all week! Due to weather and complete lack of interest This competition will be postponed I will take a straw poll at the next meeting to see if people want to continue with this particular Competition. Are people put off by the thought of shelling out a fiver - or was it because of the weather! Neal
-
Good to see you are still with us John. Hope you find something soon and can get out fishing again. Put your name down for crew - plenty of Club boats to choose from! Neal

Starting tomorrow - June 1st - carrying on until August 31st, we are holding a Junior Best specimen Competition. Please register the Junior Member and provide information on what he or she has caught. Pictures would be nice. We have money donated to the club from a Raffle of items supplied by Ian Jones, and have been offered tackle prizes from two other sources. Any other sponsorship would be most welcome. Please encourage as many of the youngsters to get out and fish as possible. Good luck Neal

Me too - it had a 70hp Yamaha on the back of mine Made it a tad "back heavy" at low speeds - but it could certainly fly. Neal

I have offered my services as the other support vessel - one each end of the Swanage Bay! Likewise if any one wants to join me - you are welcome. Will also attempt to wet a line during the day Neal

I have just spoken to Andy at Poole Sea Angling Centre and we have both agreed to postpone it for two weeks Competition Postponed Be safe Neal

It still looks better on Sunday than Saturday - but still giving Force 4 westerly - Ballard everyone! I think it safest to check again tomorrow - but looks most likely it will be re-scheduled for two weeks time. Hopefully more Bream about. Final look by lunchtime tomorrow. I suspect the Poole Sea Angling Centre Bream Comp will still be on - but I will check Neal

Fortunately forecast for Sunday looks a bit better! I will keep an eye on it and make a decision later Neal
