  11. Well as the weather had been hit and miss, i decided to spend the weekend carp fishing on a lake in the new forest with lewis (my 7 year old) and my dad. Anyway, i know most are not interested, but i'l post for the few who i know are keen on freshwater fishing. The 48hour session was a flier anyway, with over 50 carp between the 3 of us up to 25lb+ mixed in big roach getting on to 3lb and some decent bream. It was great watching my son landing his first good carp aswel, and he finished with 6 of them, mixed in woth some smaller species. Dom popped up on the way from work just for a beer and grabbed a tiny 5ft telescopic rod from the car that he had in there from his fishing on a tiny 6ft wide brook that runs through the forest and promptly landed a nice fish on a dog biscuit. Plenty of pics below of some of the good fish, with a mix of commons, mirrors, fully scaled mirrorr and a nice half linier mirror. Danny

well, as i bought my boat off stainless steve, as you could imagine, i have some lovely stainless ones that he fitted to the boat before i bought it. As conger king says, check out his web page, i think he has some pics on there of what he can make up for you (i think the pics of my rod holders and boat are on the website also) Or, check ebay, theres always something on there
  19. idiots.....and there plentyful. i either see 20knots in the 4 knots area, or end up nearly upside down from the huge wake from the cruisers that hammer past with out thought of others (like last week in hurst race ) Coddy, it had really flattened off by tea time. I wish i had of been out there
  20. theres some idiots about. i have just got back from there and i watched a 20ft+ speed boat hammer through mudeford run and passed the ferry dock at more than 20 knots. IDIOT!!!!!
  21. well the shingles looked bassy as u like, but 3 hours and i never got a single maccy from scones in the same run as a mate had 90 the previous day. ended up at sowley getting a couple of smut.
  22. Bassing 2moz outa xchurch 2moz pm. Drifting for bass then maybe a couple of hours for a ray or two. If anyone wants to buddy, let me know, or get me on CH6. Dat Dam Boat Danny
  23. Hi jim, im not about on friday so i cant make it, but to be honest, ive never been out of baiter before so i don't know the drifts out there. If you ever bring the boat to christchurch or lymington i can show you the drifts and hopefully put you on a fish or two. If you can't get here with your boat, your welcome to crew anytime you like on mine mate but hopefully one of the lads will take up your offer and join you.
  24. xray, but its just over 2 miles. Maybe 2.5miles tops. Other than that, i think its the best you will get from xchurch, plenty of pack tope there though.
