I cant get the sod out, I'l yank it off. U sure u wanna see a pic now mike?????
lol
(I hope were all thinking of the starter motor that i cant get at)
Yer, should be soon Martin. Its just a bit of work on the engine now. Its just a matter of finding time to do it as my weekends are taken up with footy. The Hull is sound now though!!
Your welcome on my boat, but with the size of the split i doubt we would make it out of the harbour.
They u are lads, a potential inshore wreck for us!!!
As a carp fisherman (I just started this sea lark a few months ago) the knotless knot is the by far the best knot i have used and i use it 100% of the time and never had it slip. Over fifty 20lb carp on it to, but i suspect a fat cod would pull back a bit harder though in the tide and test the knot better though.
If anyone wants a tropical fish tank on stand, with filter and fish let me know. It will need picking up from new milton. I cant be arsed cleaning it no more. I dont want anything for it. About 3.5ft long.
Hi guys, hope the comp went well.
Just wondering if anyone has a number so that i can get a starter motor for my petrol inboard.
Its a 4.3L v6 285horse Volvo penta. If they are expensive is their a number that will do salvidged parts?

Hey guys
As my proper boat is out of action, desperate measures have to be taken so i have decided to take out my 12ft bath tub on tuesday.
As it is a very small boat i have decided to try and take it out off lymington and drift inshore around the marshes near the IOW ferry.
Does anyone know what i am likley to catch if anything? and best rigs/ bait to use etc? im just after some bites. If anyone knows anywhere else local to me that might be better that is safe for a small boat to fish from then please let me know.
Thanks
Dan
Thanks for your help Adam F. Well Bob F, the boat i have is a 23footer that would prob fish 5. I havnt even taken it out yet as it was smashed up just after its mooring.
The boat was going down when i reached it, but its on the mend now as the splits and holes are done, now working on the seals and have a bit of work to do on the engine. Hopefully have it back in the water just after xmas.
I think the club sounds a pretty good idea, i will pm you with an address for a pack but will join just after xmas.
Thanks
DAN

Hi Guys
Im new to boat fishing and have just bought a 24 footer for my personal use. I am looking for info on where to catch bass and also conger. I have my boat based in Keyhaven but I cant travel to far coz my massive petrol inboard costs a bomb to run. I know that near the needles is good for conger but where do I start or do i just sling over and hope for the best? If any1 knows where I can drift for bass locally then please let me know.
Many Thanks and thanks for your help.
