    Fails

A few there with deep pockets and shallow brains, never a good mix. Terry.
  2. Happy Cake Day Rob, remind the kids, this is YOUR day. Terry.
  3. Strange the same result hasn't been reported in other IFCA areas though. Terry.
  4. Sorry, did we wake you? 😉😁 Thank you. Terry
  5. It's not your fault you didn't learn Welsh. Terry.
  6. Aw, thank you everyone for your kind wishes, I think the reply is that I had a good day in the circumstances. Number 1 daughter took the morning off work to accompany me on a brisk 9 mile walk in our local Cotswolds. A couple of G&T's followed by bass fillets, a nice bottle of Chablis and finished off with a couple of Dalwinney single malts. A good day under any circumstances. Martin, you know Dilys so well, BTW, 3/10 for spelling 😊. Jerry, I can wait for that treat, roll on the vaccine.. Jim, yes, all of the above. Hoping to be amongst you all soon, Terry.
  7. Happy Cake Day Peter, hope to catch up on the other side, not metaphysically speaking. Terry.
  8. I hate to be the one to say it but, they contribute nothing to society and have everything thrown at them so society's conscience is clear. I firmly believe that if you don't contribute to society, you don't get the benefits that society provides. This does not, of course, include those who are unfortunate through no fault of their own to be unable to pay. The travellers have made a lifestyle choice, you pays your money and takes your choice. My apologies if this upsets anybody's sensibilities, this is possibly not the correct place for a mini rant. Terry.
  9. I think we all know what will happen if the toilets are not open. 😡 Terry.
  10. Happy cake day Stuie, may see you out there tomorrow. Terry.
  11. Usually when buying cheaper from an unknown source, two things have to be considered, 1) if I can buy two or three of those for the price of the alternative, got to be o/k isn't it? 2) Can I afford to lose £800, it is the same as gambling. Good luck with your decision. Terry.
  12. Reely? Terry.
  13. I drew the line at baiter years ago and always launched at Christchuch, much more user friendly and good parking if you can work around the tides which, being retired at 59, I was able to do. Terry.
  14. Until 2 years ago I was launching my Warrior single handedly when I gave in and went for dry stack. I don't know how old you are, I was 71 at the time and could still manage, no probs. Terry.
  15. I shall be out also but heading east. Have a good day. Terry.
  16. Especially if there is another period of lockdown. Terry.
  17. Check the Warrior owners website https://www.facebook.com/groups/warriorboats/, usually a few on there in that price range and you could do much worse. Terry.
  18. I shall be amongst you if I can get some worms. Terry.
  19. Just a quick update. The new Lowrance unit has arrived and is installed, it produces some very nice pictures. I used the opportunity to take care of one or two other little jobs so spent two days at it,, a very nice break. Of course, I couldn't risk an overnight stay so travelled down and back both days. Worth it! Terry.
  20. Indeed Jim, and simulator mode on the unit Terry.
  21. Another good point well made, I only need half an excuse. 😉 Terry.
  22. To me, they knda look like family beach inflatables, not the sort of thing I'd want to be confined in during winter fishing trips. Or any other time actually. Terry.
  23. I think I'm going to have to go back to school though, this thing has so many features, I believe I would probably lose the plot using it at sea. A good session with the simulator on is required, I think. Terry.
  24. The very same. That was similar feedback I got from Brian so, way to go. Terry.
