I eagerly excepted a crew place with Dan and Charlie for the comp and with the early forcast I didn't think Enticer would mind but the sunshine in the morning she was giving me the arms crossed look! Well I think I should be forgiven as when we got out the entrance the sea was pretty snotty. We persivered and after spending a fruitless 30 minutes looking for bait we anchored on one of Charlie's banks. We ended on the day with 3 blonds including a 16 to me, and a small eye of 6lb 8oz plus a small bag of bits. Hard work but the weather steadily improved and good company as usual on Alfresco Thanks for the day out again Charlie / Dan

Peteg I am not 100% certain but I believe Adam had one up to not too long ago, before he sold it. Although it was a bit prone to external corrosion (so wash every time and wd40 ) I happened to use it a couple of times on conger trips and the gearing anf power of the reel was quite impresive. I have TLD20s on my heavier gear but the this unit of Adams felt a lot heasier to wind up a heavy Good luck Gordon

Hi taking 30 seconds off work to beg for crew for Saturday. Anyone fancy joining me on Enticer to fish the Bass comp on Saturday. looking to launch anout 7.00am from Mudeford. Mine seems to work well, although I have to say that I haven't travelled great distances with it full of bait to see if it gets plenty of water. I would imagine looking over the back while at cruising speed to see where the water gathers the most and placing your pump in that area and out of the prop wash should work ok? Regards gordon

Tom I just get dissappointed when "experienced" individuals choose to slag off the competition. I don't understand your motivation. So far Etecs have a good record and no worse than any other popular outboard. I didn't hear your opinions when we had quite a number of Mariner 4 strokes were suffering from some serious corrosion problems. You just seem to have an obsesion with Etecs, I have one, so I'm not going to agree with you, especialy when your comments are not founded on reports on major failures. A friend of mine has a brand new Suzuki outboard which broke down in its first year, no different from modern cars and appliances, that does not make them rubbish unless it was continuous and everyone were having issues Gordon PS And what about my opinion?

By following the simple advice I heard on a medical TV show, I have finally found inner peace! A Doctor proclaimed the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started. I for one would definately jump at the chance to crew for you one day. I hope she's everything you want A very jealous Gordon
