  3. Hi Tony, It is indeed a great club and a lovely part of the world. Mooring around here is not cheap though. The swinging moorings in the harbour are probably cheapest but not as convenient as a pontoon. I think Christchurch is much cheaper but you need to learn the waters and tides. Someone will be along with more advice soon I expect. Jim

  7. Well done Stuie. Good to get out with Family. Steve's never been out in Tiddler due to the long hours he's worked and the ongoing list at home ( that all men get. ) He's just changed jobs and hopes to get a bit more free time to come out fishing with the Old Fella. I'm looking forward to it ! ! ! ! Enjoy every minute of it mate. Jim

  11. Tried to upload some photos but failed. Could be cos I'm uploading to youtube at the same time.
  12. Lovely day out on Serenity. Tony posted on Sunday evening that he was going out on Monday and had crew space. Well there wasn't much interest in a photo shoot so I got in a bit sharpish ! No worms available anywhere but got some squid & sand eels. Luckily, they did have some worms on board. Leisurely start at 09:00 and off we went. What a beautiful morning it was too. ( Anyone who had to work, that's just tough ) Went over to Swanage to try for Rays and anything else that came our way. Tony caught a small Gobi & Keith had a Thornback Ray. I had my usual and just fed the fish ! ! We moved over to Poole patch where tony had a very small Bream. I think I'm going to give up work and be a lead miner ! ! ! There must be tons of the stuff on Poole Patch ! ! ! After that we tried B/mouth pier and all the rocky places on the way home. There seemed to be lots of little bait robbers but I couldn't catch anything. I don't care ! I had a great day out in good company in glorious weather. Cheers Tony & Keith Jim
  13. Good luck Matt. Jim
  14. Cor ! I just checked the weather I think she's slipped up there ! ! ! ! She's only giving us fantastic weather all day. If I catch any fish it'll be icing on the cake ! Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  16. Thank you Tony. I accept your very kind offer. We'll just check in the morning what that weather woman's doing I have been practicing stretching my arms out so I can tell people about the one that got away. Jim
  17. I thought Mammoths were extinct Rob. It seems they're not ! Keep the wife happy eh ? Sounds like a MAMMOTH task to me ! ! !
  18. Duncan F (bathclaret) Has had his 175 for many years and a very nice bloke. Send him a PM and ask for his views on them. My view is fishing only probably the 175 Comfort and appeal to the women, then the Merry Fisher. I had a Warrior 165 but not a 175 Good luck. Choosing a boat is always a trade off . . . . . You can have this . . . . or that . . . . .or a little bit of this . . . . and a tiny bit of that . . . . Boat show in a month. Take a good look and research . . . . . . . . . Jim
  19. Rob's mate has no need of these. Anyone want them ?
  20. The only markings I can find are on the plastic outer: 3433 0228 ? ? ?
  21. I'll go and have a look
  22. Found them. Been in my garage more than 15 years but never been on a boat. Rob's mate gets first dibbs and if they're not suitable they're up for grabs. No charge.
  23. Remind me if I've not posted what I've got Rob Had them in the garage for years. Don't know if they are Yamaha or not. I'll see if I can find them.
